Indian Chef Restaurant

Had the worst lentil dhaal I have EVER had. They may be good at the brightly coloured chicken curries but any Indian restaurant that can’t make a decent dhaal shouldn’t even pretend to make authentic Indian food.

This is one of the best Indian restaurant in Australia I would say. I was LITERALLY addicted to their food; especially Chicken Biryani and Butter Chicken. My lunch was sorted as they offer a very good deal in a decent price; difficult to get anywhere in Australia with the balance in price, quantity and quality.

An over confident chef owner with a exceptionally poor quality food and service. Even the sauce was diluted to save money and the food is disappointingly bad, save your effort and go elsewhere, I am very very disappointed and felt sad. There is no love in that food

Beautiful setting and the food was good. I have eaten there twice.

Very disappointed with quality of food in this last order. Naan bread obviously processed and bought from elsewhere. Curries tasted like they were out of a jar and meat tough. Food sat heavy in stomach after. Sorry Indian Chef you used to be my favorite place but no more.

I don't usually leave comments, but I felt compelled to after the awful food we bought from here. It wasn't at all like any other Indian food I've ever had. It was sweet like a dessert and barely any meat. I wouldnt mind so much but it cost over $50.

It was a close meal. The vegetables on the vegeterian menus all use frozen vegetables, but the price is not reasonable. I don't think I'll buy it if it's about five dollars. And an unfriendly employee. I don't recommend it.

An absolute mockery of indian cuisine. The curry might as well be served under desserts with the amount of sugar they put in it. The chicken is over cooked frozen coles chicken and their staff could do with a smile on their face. Unless you want runny sugar water and rice I do not recommend coming here.

Best butter chicken I've ever tasted. Hidden gem.
