1/171-173 Oxford St, Bondi Junction
great noodle
Good food
Good good.
Great tonkotsu ramen. It's busy but moves fast. Would come back if in the area.
Amazing food. A must try.
Whilst the broth was quite good, after paying $15 I would expect more than 1 small piece of chashu and half an egg. After paying another $4 for another 3 slices the meal was how it should be, albeit missing the other half of the egg... Why they don't just charge that little bit more initially and make the meal how it should be is beyond me. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars, but it cost me $19 for a Tonkotsu that would generally cost $15. Don't be stingy guys... π
Very busy place. A lot of local Japanese people eat here. Ramen is good. Karaage Don is ok, probably the best you will find around here. At least it's cooked fresh unlike the place in Spring st. No mayo on the karaage. Still it fills you up.
My experience here makes me recall my days staying at Japan. The udon wa good except the soup is a bit salty to me. The ramen was good with the roasted chasu!
Delicious ramen at a fair price right next to the station. Quick service, friendly staff, and classic flavours.
I considered moving to Bondi Junction to be closer to this restaurant. Itβs been my second favourite (now favourite... number one closed down) restaurant in Australia for two decades. The outlet in the city just as good (but can get quite busy). Best Ramen in the country. Theyβve maintained excellence for a long time. Outstanding place.
