Great ramen shop. Noodles can be done to preference too - hard, medium or soft. The rice dishes are quite nice too. Staff are attentive and friendly.
Salmon roll is the best! Be ready to wait in the queue but it's worth it. Also if you ordered ramen, don't eat all soup, you can top up noodle just for couple of dollars. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is warm and pleasant. Coming back there for lunch every 2 weeks.
I love this restaurant, I've eaten here at least 20 times. Love it.
It was very busy but excellent food. I went with friends and we all had very delicious, filling food. It was very salty, but in a good way. I had to learn how to use chopsticks.
A modern restaurant serving quality Japanese ramen, rice bowl and snacks. There are 2 dishes at Ippudo that are destination food for me. Unagi rice bowl are ubiquitous Japanese - commonly served as grilled eel on top of white rice with a sweet sticky teriyaki sauce. The version in Ippudo is a standout - the combination of mushroom and eel lift the dish to another level. Absolutely delicious. The same for the bonito tonkotsu - the smokiness from the bonito makes the dish unforgettable. And it is great to able to nominate the preferred firmness of the ramen.
Really great place. I came here last week, right before it opened, and there was already a massive line! Rightfully so, for a great place with great food. Authentic Japanese service. You won't regret trying the chicken buns, which are seriously to die for 🤤
Nice experience. I found the pork bao to be the standout, amazing. Much tastier than the ramen. The standard pork ramen wasn’t very flavoursome. The spicy level 2 ramen was not bad. I would return only for the bao. Very nice service, polite and attentive.
A popular ramen chain located in QV. They have a simple but nice menu with various ramen and Japanese dish options. I went on the 1st of the month so they have $10 ramens, which was good value. I had the bonito special with extra noodles and black fungus (which came in an unexpectedly large portion). The karage chicken was also pretty delicious.
Not recommended for vegetarian food, ramen soup was basically maggi noodles in an oily broth, the chicken soup was no better. Yam fries were pretty good though. The ambience is great, the staff are attentive and the place has a lively vibe, and not too noisy even with lots of chatter, thanks to all the timber strip lining.
1 of my favourite Ramen places in the CBD. Best boneless chicken karaage!
