197-199 Lyons Rd, Drummoyne
I love going to this place. The people are knowledgeable and passionate about chocolate and it's great talking about it with them. The chocolate is a bit on the pricier side but trust me, well worth it. Even the 100% chocolate is amazing, not overly bitter and it's got so many flavours coming through! I recommend going there to indulge yourself.
Lovely chocolate specialty cafe in Drummoyne. Their fresh cacao bean makes a huge difference in hot chocolate taste! Highly recommended to try them.
The owner is very passionate about his chocolate, takes pride in his products and cares about quality. This is also reflected in his coffee, hot chocolates and Mocha which are always excellent, in the ceramic mugs and in the immaculately clean and inviting shop. The walnut and chocolate cookie is superb and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a great cookie. I am not a fan of white chocolate in general however, the Peru single origin at Hyggelig is one of the best I have ever tasted and is unique is in its flavour profile with a gentle sweetness.
I am not sure why this place is always empty when I come to visit. FURTHERMORE, I am unsure why other, overly sweetened chocolate cafes are popular when this one is in business. The owner really looks after you and lets you experience the chocolates as they are made from different parts of the world. The brownie and the CacaoXpresso is divine. Truly one for the chocolate pilgrimage.
Excellent experience, amazing customer service, very friendly, delicious chocolate, and overall very happy with everything. Even had the opportunity to try 100%! Will be back for sure.
Lovely inviting Scandinavian chocolate bar! Beautiful fresh chocolate which tastes absolutely feels superior than mass produced chocolate A nice little gem in the inner west. A nice reward after the Bay Run! Try the brownie and carot cake - decent and indulgent treats. The hot chocolate was unlike anything I have tried before We will definitely be back soon!
Easily the best hot choccie and mochas around and the chocolate is next level. The service is always top notch with my only gripe being the limited days they are open. Recently I went for a work catchup and they were closed but saw us looking through the door. The guys were inside making chocolate but invited us in out of the rain and gave us our hot chocolate fix along with some amazing samples to try. Robert (owner) also took time out to chat about the different cacao varieties and the end to end process of getting them onto the shelves. This was completely unexpected and an amazing example of exceptional customer service.
On a cold cloudy Sunday afternoon, we were looking for something like an afternoon tea and stumbled upon this chocolate store. We were impressed by how clean the place was and that clear view into the kitchen where all the cool machines are (for making chocolate). The owner was very friendly in letting us sample their range of chocolates, and explaining their origins. We also tried some of the brownies and they were yummy. And lastly, we loved the hot chocolates we ordered that warmed us from the inside. This place is simply a "gem" in the suburbs.
Excellent hot chocolates and great friendly staff. Itβs a must go to place for true chocolate fans.
Chocolate enthusiasts must go! Everyone so knowledgeable and everything absolutely delicious.
