Hu's Pie & Dumplings Malvern

Yum! The Pies, if you're curious but uninitiated like me, are delicious, and like a flat, fried dumpling, think pancake shape but with the filling inside. Seems like the frying soaks up a lot of oil FYI. The dumplings are nice. As others said it takes a little time, i was the only person inside in the afternoon, takeaway dumplings and pie took about 17 mins which is fair enough i suppose. Tasty.

I've eaten alot of asian food and eaten almost every cultures food but this place makes the best God dam food I've ever had, I would eat it every day if possible ! The rice is the best , the beef noodles are the best and the pan fried dumplings are the best and the special fried rice is the best ! Everything is so dam good !! Love it

Looked grimy but walked in off the street. The place was absolutely filthy from the toilet area to the sticky floors. The food was good, we ordered dumplings. Then under one of the baskets there was a hair. At this stage it confirmed my worst fears I will never ever go there again. Lesson learnt for me to never eat at a yukky looking place. It needs a SERIOUS clean, disinfected and a coat of paint, minimum. I welcome anyone to tell me that its a clean restaurant.

So delicious!!!! Juicy, tasty pies made with passion. love the beef and prawn chive ones! Just feel so warm and homey after had those pies.

Cheap and cheerful feel, with matching service and average food. Plenty of better options nearby.

Had dinner here. Food was good but abit pricey for a casual Chinese restaurant. It is usually quiet here so you don't need reservation. Their menu is versatile so if u come as group everyone can find a food they like. It is also good for sharing.

I've been coming here for years and never had an issue, their food is always yummy. The turnaround time for takeaway is quick as well. Some of these bad reviews seem to be from spam accounts.

Bad choice! Pricey food but no fresh not authentic Chinese food. Especially so bad service. The Chinese young waiter always show his green face to customer. He very unkindly to kids. Blame kids to follow up his strict rules. You never feel welcome. Even you are old customers. He never remember you.
