Hotel Kurrajong Canberra

It's a nice building. It has a heritage feel with some modern amenities. Comfortable rooms and beds that will give you a good rest. The only let downs were the staff who were abrupt in attitude and a little condescending, parking is not what was promised with not enough spaces for the number of rooms they have even though it comes at a cost. It is local to quite a few sites of Canberra and makes for a nice walk .

I enjoyed the history of the place and the rooms were comfortable. The place is a maze though - don't come back after a few drinks too many or you'll never find your room.

I love the foyer very much here. Haven't stayed here but I often pick up passengers from here as I'm an Uber driver. Everyone I pick up seems to really like it here.

Building is beautifully presented. Great vibe. Room was spacious and king size bed very comfortable. Staff are very courteous and friendly. Great breakfast menu. Only issue is the paid parking. It is situated on the premises behind a boom gate but doesn't offer any really advantage re security or proximity to front door than the on street parking.

We were married in September 2022 at Hotel Kurrajong, after a year of planning with Michaela. It was a beautiful and picturesque day, filled with love and joy, followed by a rock and roll celebration. The venue was absolutely magical, and allowed us to decorate and vibe to suit us. Michaela was with us every step of the way, much like a fairy godmother, trying her absolute darnedest to grant our wishes! We stayed two nights in the bridal suit, and were able to get ready in the suit also! The food was absolutely to die for, the drinks were flowing and it was a day/night that we will never forget. Thank you so much to Michaela & Hotel K for being so gracious, from start to finish. We so appreciate it ♡

Historic hotel but showing its age a bit. I think repainting etc underway as we left. Rooms are clean and adequate. I must commend the staff as they were all helpful, friendly and oh so efficient! Menu is limited but everything on it is delicious and well presented. This is pretty intelligent as too many choices might water down the quality. Hotel is situated in Barton with easy access to Manuka with its cafes and restaurants. Civic also not far with more cafes and eateries. Cab to airport was $24 ( Dec 2022 )
