Hotel Bruce County

Lawns need mowing. And weeds. Couldn't believe Carmel liked this place?? Really? Food had been made previously. Wasn't fresh. Dry. I had my own bizo-food. And worked Hospitality 20 +yrs... then they commented on my drinking?? Immature worker's.

We have eaten a number of times at Bruce County restaurant but never stayed at the hotel as a guest. The food was pretty much always been amazing, wonderful presentation and good service. A few nights the customer service was pretty average usually when an older guy and young staff were on. We went in about 6 times in a few months as we had to stay locally whilst works were done to our house and Keane the manager was wonderful best cocktails and service. Very different service and staff performance the nights he was on. Reasonable prices some a little bit on high side but pretty good food overall. I’d skip dessert & have a cocktAil as nothing blew my mind dessert wise am I’m a huge dessert fan!

After searching the room for a few moments for a second light switch, I was horrified to find out that only 1 light worked in the entire room. The room booking stared that wifi was available yet password for the wifi on the information sheet didn't work. Didn't even touch the shower after one look and the provided shampoo and conditioner looked half used! Nothing looked anything like the pictures provided at the booking and honestly made me question if it was the same place but they had my booking and the address was the one provided. Having gotten back to my room around midnight from a meeting and with a check out time of 10am, being a young female on my own, I did not expect to find an employee knocking on my room door at 9:15am telling me to get up and that it's almost time to check out. Will not be returning to or recommending this location any time soon.

Best hotel in mount Waverley couldn't fault a single thing was there for quite a few weeks due to rough circumstances but the owners really looked after me well and made sure I had everything would definitely be coming back i highly suggest this place to anyone wanting to get away for a little holiday the owners went above and beyond and I'm so thankful for all that they did for me room was comfortable and close to near by shops.

Location is great supermarket near by Service was nice too Pool was not working And next to Me was a huge fight and noise at 2am till 5am Carpet was not clean

I was there for a Business Trip for about 5 Weeks. The rooms are clean and the size fits. The pool seemed not usable to me. Great advantage was that you can park in front of your room, you don't have to go minutes with your luggage.

Ok for a overnight stay. Pool was small extremely cold dirty and alot of bees .

Spent the weekend over new year's and although the room was still the same, sadly the new owners have let the place go. The pool had not being cleaned and the gardens were really bad, just weeds and dead flowers everywhere. Much better when the original owners and staff were there. It's really gone down hill

Pathetic service. When you book room for 3 people, you expect room that accommodates 3 people. They ask you to pay for the extra bed for third person. The guy in the reception did not speak properly, nor was her concerned about our protest. Not a service you expect in Australia. Do not come.

Love this place. It is pretty and cozy. The room where I stayed well suits my needs at a reasonable price. Hotel staffs are amazing. Their supports are beyond my expectation.
