Great food. Friendly service. Awesome location. My whinge though: we reckon Adelaide can be super proud of its wine heritage and history. A restaurant like Home Ground should not be giving a detailed wine list and then saying there's only two reds to choose from - as in two bottles, both opened. To top my experience off, I'm sure my glass was light on in volume as it was the last bit in the bottle. If it wasn't off, it was close. I did say the food and staff were great! Cheers.

Not many positives here, unfortunately. The poke bowl is quite the misnomer. Poke is a Hawaiian dish that means marinated cubed raw fish. Home Ground’s poke bowl doesn’t come with any fish, but instead some sliced avocado drizzled with a soy sauce-based dressing that was so salty I was guzzling water. The brown rice was undercooked. It should be taken off the menu. Service was friendly and efficient. Location is nice. I shared a bowl of chips with the table and they were inoffensive. Wouldn’t go back nor recommend it to others. The best I can say was that it was “meh”

Highly recommend the Big Breakfast. Best breakfast I've had in a looonnngggg time.
