Went for breakfast. Coffee was fantastic and scrambled eggs with bacon done really well..

Very well populated by locals and it's obvious to see why when the food and coffee arrives. Absolutely scrumptious. The coffee is the best I've ever had whilst out and that's a huge gutsy call! But I've made it. Have come here before in passing and we will again when we are in this neck of the woods for sure. One thing...The menus need to be placed away from directly in front of the counter so people have access to read what's available prior to.... so some choice selection can be made in advance if you don't want to sit at a table and decide and re-line up again.

Delicious coffee, food and staff are very friendly. My family and I always have a great time, with a beautiful service. My regular takeaway coffee (always in a perfect temperature) and treat during the week!

Friendly little no fuss cafe. Have my business meetings here, it’s approachable and easy.

Nice place. Male barista make a good coffee! Ordered the eggs Benny and it was amazing. The young chef was impressive for her age 10/10 recommend visiting the home cafe Ashgrove :)

Be careful, Crazy prices and very misleading menu prices for the extras. Check you bill price before ordering to know if you are getting charged incorrectly. Ordered corn and zucchini plate with extra mushrooms, spinach and tomatoes which is listed one line for $4.50 but was charged that for each item so three times price we thought. Add toast and two large coffees and price came to $60 which is far from value for money!!! Don't even get an itemized receipt to know what you are paying for. We won’t go there a second time and will sharing this bad experience to our family , friends and local neighborhood

Richard and the team at Home Cafe did a wonderful job of hosting our client event. The food fantastic and the service impeccable. The feedback from our customers has been extremely positive. Recommend without reservation.

Maybe just cafes in general but the food here feels way overpriced for what you are getting compared to other establishments around Brisbane for so so food and coffee. Just a word of warning about the menu. Had mushrooms, tomatoes and spinach added to meal thinking the price advertised was for all and not each so came as an unpleasant shock when paying. $6.50 for a piece of toast also sounds disproportionately expensive comparef to other items on the menu but maybe I don't get out enough.

The most amazing cafe in Ashgrove! Best coffee in town (especially the chai latte) - super dog friendly and wonderful customer service. Can recommend the halloumi stack!
