Hero Sushi

So gross will never go here again. Not only was the customer service horrible, but the food was just below average and expensive.

This would have to be the filthiest food outlet at Chermside. It is full of dust, the floors hadn't been swept (for weeks) and the fire protection equipment was wrapped in filth....

Not very welcoming, staff not friendly & not too many choices of sushi available on the train😔👎

I regularly go to this place. Giving it 5 stars not because it's perfect but because it's probably the best sushi train in the area/neighbourhood. Fresh seafood (for a sushi train) and decent variety of menu items.

Pretty average. We ordered the calamari rings and they served us a petty 3 pcs of calamari rings for $3.50. Next we ordered the salmon sashimi again we gad 4 tiny pieces for $7.50 but advertised in front of the restaurant every plate is $3.50. We cane at 7:45 pm and at 8pm the staff was asking to take last order and nothing on the sushi train as being added except for some ready made packet sweets which I could have gotten for $2 at a nearby Asian store and ice cream. This sushi train is a sham. I'd had better.

We were there at about 3.30pm on a week day for a quick bite. We saw the special with all dishes for $3.80 and lowered our expectations. But we're pleasantly surprised. The food was reasonably good and the service was friendly. I particularly liked that two chefs were ladies for a change. We walked away quite happy. The only issue we found was the use or old avocado. See photo, but other than that everything was fresh and tasty.

Go to this place if you like scrappy service and worse food. Any food we ordered was either taken straight off the conveyor belt or pointed out to us so we could take it off ourselves. We asked for a jug of water and were given the smallest cups of lukewarm water (which was spilled onto our shopping without comment as well). The food itself was not something I'd like to put myself through again, the karaage (fried chicken) was undercooked at best and then deep fryer it came from looked like it hasn't been cleaned ever. The sushi definitely wasn't fresh and I really don't think these guys should be serving half the stuff they do. Gordon Ramsey would have an absolute field day here

here is worst quality sushi place. not many option menu and all food been long time so so dry and cold. they said all sushi is $3.5 but not all that price. one floor staff working in the kitchen and 2 chefs talking together and using mobile even empty the train.looks unprofessional. in train have not many sushi looks lots of empty spots. sushi made by small rice and fish but too much sauce. i tasted only sauce not sushi. if you want throwing up here is good place for you.!

The staff are quite unprofessional and seem not want to serve customers! I politely asked for sauce bowls twice from them, unfortunately I did not get them, but that is fineas I put sauce and everything on each sushi. However, what I was so disappoited was I ordered my water three times and they did not even serve me while others who ordered drinks got their own!!! Do you think should I deserve this kind of unprofessional staff????? I then decided to stop eating as I really need to buy water from outside! The staff came to me and asked if everything is alright, but I honestly said not really! I know that she was unsatisfied as her face expression can tell me... Definitely, I felt that two women staff on Thursday night are so unporfessional as they chose to serve only customers who they want to!! I promise that I will not recommend anyone to go there as I dont want to get them to encounter the same terrible experience as me!

Simply put - if you like fish/crab sticks ( processed fish rubbish) instead of fresh fish sushi, then this is the place for you. You can see stacks of sushi sitting out in 22 deg heat for hours waiting to go on the train... ordered the dumplings and had caramel used burnt juice glueing them together. I got a bad feeling after sitting watching the train.. but by then had already ordered avocado /salmon sushi for the kids... will not be back!!
