I’m not sure if other venues in the chain are exceptional and Southbank is the anomaly? I frequent the venue on the Gold Coast and the food is always amazing. Clean, fresh, flavours. Timely and super friendly service. I have been here three times now and it feels like they prep their food the day before and serving from the prep bench or microwave it to serve. Really disappointed. If the product was bad once, maybe an anomaly, but three times is trend. As a chain/group, I would recommend they do some quality control at this venue. On a positive the staff are mostly very nice.

Good food, fast ordering and service. The price for their chicken curry is high for the market, and the quality of the chicken reflects that. Unfortunately there are no vegetables in the curry, so that's the only improvement I would suggest. Carrots and potato's please!

Loved almost everything we ordered, only drawback was the duck goyza - they were not good at all.

absolutely horrible service. they make the customer work. Order on your phone, pay on your phone with credit card. Asked for water and was told to order it on my phone, just ridiculuous. Why don't you get the customer to cook their own food in your kitchen? Also, food was pretty bad. Used to love the HG in the Valley/ New Farm but this one was just bad.
