I have never ever experienced the japanese curry so good. The tofu curry with rice and pickled ginger is divine and could have this any day. Be sure to drop in next time when you are here and the lady over counter is very friendly and professional. Curry to rice ratio can be improved.

Hanaichi is one of my favourite guilty pleasures. Whenever I am in need ot ultimate comfort food I find myself here ordering the Japanese Chicken Curry. I also LOVE the Kay's chicken and find the egg sauce to be quite authentic to the versions I had when in Japan. I always, always ask for half rice regardless of what I order because I feel the ratio of rice to curry is a lot better this way. However, sometimes I find it is still too much rice (that could just be me though).

Disgusting, tasteless food. Ordered Beef Curry and Teriyaki Chicken. Both 90% white cluggie rice and 10% meat (if you could call it that). Definetely won't be back.
