Came here for lunch on a Sunday.. they must have had a busy Saturday because they ran out of a few things on the menu. Though the service was good, we were disappointed on how slow the food came out... When I checked, they had 1 person doing the kitchen so that explains it. When the food did come out, the ingredients were more canteen style or more the meal you get from a theme park/zoo type (albeit larger portion). I think it probably has to do with the 1 kitchen staff doing the whole lot... hence why some of the meals was over cooked. I would have given this review a 3 stars as I probably got them on a bad off day, but after reviewing the bill, with the pricing they charged, I expected a lot better food and it definitely was not at that pricing level.. Also note, they do charge for giving you an extra clean plate ($2 to be exact) which is fair enough considering they have to wash it... though they should advise of the charge first as it's a pretty uncommon charge. I'm not sure if they stated it on the menu or not, but if it was, everyone in my party missed it.
Given the service we received, I know if we did complain, they would have tried again, but from what we saw, it would have taken a while to get the food again, and we made a judgement the quality of food wasn't worth a second wait.
To summarise
PROS.
1. Clean facilities
2. Outdoor area
3. Good table service
4. For 1 kitchen staff to cook for everyone, major feat and good on her.
5. I heard their dinners are a lot better, so this review is based strictly on our lunch experience.
CONS.
1. Food feels like canteen style/theme park food quality on a bigger serving
2. Slow Food delivery
3. Charges for extra share plates without advising its an extra cost. (though just like corkage or BYO cake charge, I think they are within their rights to charge it) - just advise it first.
4. Pricing is on premium end for quality of food.
