Greenacre Hotel

Good place for a quiet one with a mate or two.

Extremely well priced accommodation. I entered the hotel with low expectations, however, I was shocked by the quality of the rooms and service. The bed and pillows were some of the comfiest I’ve ever slept on. Shared amenities were extremely clean and well looked after. The manager was one of the nicest men I’ve ever met. He showed us some of the new Reno’s and was great to chat to down at the bar. He even shouted a round of drinks. The outdoor area downstairs is beautiful for a drink of an afternoon. I will make an active effort to return and stay here next time I am in Sydney, and tell everyone I know about the great stay. Cheers guys!!

It Was our first trip to Australia. The hotel was extremely Good in every way. The especially Ladies(All) (Receptionist) Did a great job all of them were so Friendly. They could go out of their way to help us in. The Rooms are Very good looking at the price point. The beds,toilets, Linen were very clean. Only the drawback is there's a lot of noise of cars which isn't the fault of the hotel. The Area is little bit tricky. If you are considering a stay at this budget Go for It. Highly Recommended.

Stayed a couple of nights . The hotel is great value for money ( it’s cheap !) so you can’t expect it to be luxury . Room was bays but fine, bed a bit soft. Shared bathroom was a bit tired and could have been cleaner. The staff were very nice and helpful. Some great places to eat along the strip.

We stayed there 2 nights to have a look arround Sydney. The staff is super friendly and helpful! The beds are very comfy and the rooms have everything you would expect for this price. Air Con worked like a charm and the sheets were clean. Roomkeeping could be a bit more tidy, but then again, its reasonable priced. If you look for a nice room at a budget price , this the right place. With a bit of luck you can find free parking at the back.

The room was great value for the price and the staff were so lovely. The place has obvious wear and tear, but the linen is quality and the beds are SO COMFORTABLE!!!! Would happily recommend and stay here again.

We arrived to find the carpets just cleaned and still wet first night was good james behind the bar was great from there it went down hill we were out all day at the Sydney show only to return to find the car Park full and not a park anywhere we went to the office to find out what we could do only to find the rudest staff member after not getting any where we decided to leave one night early and drive home arriving home at 2 am we would not stay there again .we are two senior citizens that had a great time at the show only to have the rudest women in Australia take that away

We visited on the 20th of April 2023 and it was under my husband's name. We have never stayed here before so the owner saying 2019 in response is a blatant lie There were holes and stains on the linen, cockroaches, we could hear mice running through the walls and found mouse droppings on my 6 month old's blanket. The rooms while nice weren't cleaned properly, there was a buildup of dust, hair and dirt behind the toilet door which was really off-putting and the bathroom door wouldn't close. This is really a shame. We paid 88 dollars for a room that was absolutely not clean, stains everywhere, there was even a hole at the bottom of the window, which is probably why there were bugs in our room too.. the walls were also super unkempt. I understand it is a low budget hotel, but you can at least make sure that the room is tidy and clean. and than the toilets and the bathroom, just a disaster, I have not even seen 1 camping so dirty and we have been traveling around Australia for a year. Mold everywhere, paper on the floor. You just saw that it had not been properly cleaned, so I also have my doubts about the hygiene here. for a low-budget traveler this hotel is a NO GO! And last but not least, the hallway is full of scented bowls.. I think that says enough..

Our hotel room had a funny smell, on the window there was no moskito net, the net was laying outside on the roof. Maybe someone tried to break in? Therefore we couldn’t leave the window open overnight. The area is ok, but there are revving cars all night long on the road. If you have light sleep that’s not the place for you! They have 19 rooms and two toilets and two showers for the men. Unfortunately the (female) cleaning personel is not cleaning the toilets every day. Sometimes it was quite nasty! There was a towel laying in the shower for two days. Obviously there was no cleaning personel even near the bathroom. With that amount of people using the facilities, they should clean them twice a day! The price is cheap, but I wouldn’t stay there again.
