35-43 Jonson St 2481, Byron Bay
Had rump steak for $16 which was on special that day. It was perfect medium rare and the portion size was moderate, came with chips and salad.
Quaint old pub. Rough with atmosphere. Nice girl in bar, very helpful with beer varieties. Small menu, but plenty of variety. Food when it came out was great. Not the Ritz, just a really nice experience. Will be back. 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Not bad, service was good.
Music great. Staff genuinely friendly and welcoming.
It's a old pub has a win on pokies, I wish they had rooms up stairs to stay in cause it gave me a haunted vibes and that gives me trills lol
My husband and I came to Byron Bay for our honeymoon and made the best decision to come and eat here. The cocktails were on point (I recommend the lavender lemonade) and our entrees and main meals were perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was nice inside the restaurant side, we enjoyed how moody the lighting was and the intimate decor. The security guards at the front door were really good at ensuring Covid protocols were met and made sure to check that everyone who was coming inside had checked in with their phones. I can't thing of negatives to say except the wait time for the food was a little long but my husband and I were also very hungry so it could have just felt longer than it actually was. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a delicious feed and good environment to kick back in.
We sat in the pub side which had great character but I would of preferred the other bars which one had a band and one was cute and more for cocktails. We we're frog marched into that bar by the "Hygiene Marshall" from the sign in stand and sat amongst tables of middle aged blokes having shorts, I didn't even know the other areas existed. However drinks we're extremely cheap and as should be so no complaints there suited what we needed!
Great experience here. Lovely staff and attentive service. Good spot for live music. Dog friendly outside. We'll be back.
One of the waitresses was fantastic and the food was fantastic but one of the waitresses was just sour and we have since found out that because we took umbrellas to the pub, as we walked from our hotel and there was a chance of rain, the musician playing the guitar thought it was a good idea to pay out on us...um hello we are tourist...no tourist, no money, no spots for you to play guitar! How dumb can you be...in this environmental economy you need all the tourism you can get..
Tasty steak also fish chips and beer, friendly staff meal yummy you should go you will enjoy
