Is it worth driving all the way up there to have a burger some of my friends said the food and the service is very bad and other say it is good and the prices are they expensive

Au contraire. The Grease Monkey is a TOP SPOT. Your friends are 'out to lunch'. The food IS good and the prices are NOT expensive. It is not a cheap and nasty McDonald's. You get good service and fantastic craft beers.
