Gerties Bar and Restaurant

This is a nice corner bar and restaurant. My husband and I were looking for lunch around 3pm on a Sunday and they were one of few places in the area that were open. We ordered three sharing plates. The food was really good. I've always liked the vibe and set-up here. I love that they had 200ml bottles of moet also. You know it's freshly opened and they give you a small ice bucket to keep the bottle cold. Super impressed with the detail.

I went there last Saturday night for the very first time. It's a comfortable place, awesome drinks and the staff provide a 5 star service. All of them are very friendly. For sure we will be there again. I do recommend Gertie's.

A lot of lovely cocktails, good food and great live music on Fridays.

Take a seat at one of Gerties' enormous windows looking out to New Farm, order a cocktail and enjoy. The team are friendly and attentive remembering you and your favourite drink. Their Old Fashioneds made on Makers Mark are a standout and their Long Island Iced Teas are refreshing. If you're off to the New Farm cinemas across the street you can enjoy a bite to eat there before or after the movie. Their Margherita pizza is a standout. Not to heavy, great flavours and large enough for two. Enjoy your visit with Gerties.

Wonderful cuisine always beautifully prepared. We have enjoyed eating at Gerties a number of times and have never been disappointed. We had the Rump Steak and the Gerties burger. Both fabulous. Don't forget to order a tasty cocktail from there truly experienced staff. Highly recommend.

It was ok, service could have been better

Fabulous little venue that has stood the test of time. I hadn't been here in many many years, and was impressed to see so many gluten-free options on the menu. Gertie's retains what I think is an art deco style, and I enjoyed the ambience created by it and the Latin music. The food was also very delicious! Looking forward to my next visit :)

Best service I've received in a long time! The food was brought out very quickly, and all 6 meals came at the same time. Drinks were fantastic, and again came very quickly despite it being a busy night. The atmosphere is perfect and the staff are very friendly Highly recommended.

Incredibly accommodating service and beautiful atmosphere. Staff are very attentive - probably the most attentive I’ve seen in Bris. The best gin selection you’ll see in Bris too, try the Renegade gin which is world class. Well done Edwin and team - keep up the great work! Must visit venue
