A cosy spot in the middle of Hahndorf. We stopped by for afternoon tea and had the apple strudel and tea. Strudel was good (warm, apple had a lovely spice, pastry could be flakier but still delicious) and the tea was loose leaf. All had by not one, but two crackling fires! Felt more authentic than a few other offerings on the main street

Great food. Awesome staff. Owner is a legend. Large menu with lots of variety. Highly recommend.

Great Burger's but my order was messed up.. but the young lady happily exchanged it for my correct order. This is definitely not stop me from coming back

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Bratwurst reminded me of home (Danish-German American). Eggs Florentine is my go to breakfast and a side of bratwurst made it perfect.

Very nice. Had Hot chocolate and scones was lovely. Meals looked great, so can't wait to come back and try some 😊😊

Nice atmosphere, we went for breakfast 2 mornings in a row. Both times dirty cutlery and coffee cups were dirty. Coffee was not that nice, very sharp. Staff were young and clearly untrained. I was going to say something but staff had attitude.

Venue looks good, waitress was nice but coffee came out in dirty lipstick covered mugs and then got attitude when I returned mine to be replaced. Cakes were ok but coffee was deplorable. Many better alternatives around the area so I'd skip this place next time for sure.

Sausage platter disappointing. Pork chop was cold in the middle and when brought to waiter's attention he did nothing so had to leave it. Complained to counter staff and asked for some money back. Refused. Wouldn't go back there.

We had lunch 2 days ago and it's been the most disappointing experience in Adelaide so far. We ordered the pork hock and we asked how it was cooked. The guy at the counter said it was slow cooked and really soft, but the true, it was really dry and with no taste at all. Also, the greens on top of the pork hock were off. The smash potato was disgusting. It took 30min to arrive the food, the tables were dirty and the cutlery as well. To be honest, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a real German food experience, or even who's looking for having a decent meal around the Handorf area.

Lunch today. Excellent. Worth every cent. Friendly staff and amazing food,
