Try the beef Nachos they are always yum
Spectacular meal.
I never give 5-stars. But here they are. Creative menu, but not too wanky. Each plate taste balance extremely well crafted. Good waitstaff.. very good and discrete maitre d'.. ( unmet), quietly and efficiently managing the clientele/ kitchen. . Reasonable wine list. Some good choices. Will definitely return , probably while the Met exhibition running. Go, enjoy, go again.. especially for reward or festive occasion . Cob
We had a brilliant lunch here. Very good value for the quality of food.very good quality of cooking. We had the chefs selection: Myself and my wife are usually not fans of oysters but today was the best oyster I have ever had- w sour cream, herring roe and spring onion oil... The prawn Tom yum that was served with the bread was amazing. Memorable dish. Lamb belly w black garlic, white anchovy was also very good. We will be back here next time we are in Brisbane.
What I love about this place, is the space and the food design that I got to enjoy, both are super innovative and just feels different to some of the top restaurants in Brisbane. I love some of the risks that were taken with the ingredients, the way they were used were just magic - and you know I’m talking about you Camel Milk dessert. The only reason that this place lost a star is that the floor service was terribly ordinary. We were sitting at our table for 30 mins before we were asked to order a drink and then we had to wave down someone every time we wanted to order anything. Might need to look at being a bit more forthcoming in anticipating what your customers would like to order and then we would definitely spend more too. Chefs, keep up the good work, I’ll be back to see if your waiters have upped their game.
Tried the Chefs menu and was blown away by the taste, presentation, and surprising mix of Asian, Indian, and English influences. All around an amazing experience accompanied with knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Everything on the plate was excellent. But the service on the floor needs a little improvement. We asked how long before they can sit us and the waitress suggested of a cafè downstairs. If we wanted to eat on a cafè after driving two hours just to eat on this particular restaurant I could’ve just stayed home and cooked our own food. 🙂
We had the five course degustation menu and it was exquisite! Each meal we had was a unique sensory delight! We could not pick our favourite dish from start to finish. The paired wines were spot on and complimented the flavours perfectly. We had such a lovely night. The staff were friendly and informative.
Excellent fine dining at GOMA. We’ve visited a few times now and never been disappointed.
Great food, great service. Recommend the 5 course tasting menu with paired wines. Good option for a special night out.
