Food + Brew

Another great little spot in Burnie. Lovely old building and great decor, complimented by great coffee. The staff were really friendly and the menu is great. Parking out the front (metered unfortunately) and very close to the centre of town. Lots of locals getting coffee and breakfast, so it must be good! Very close to the port operations for a little bit of ship spotting.

Fabulous lunch, had the Burger which was wonderful and the bun was perfect, not too heavy and not too light. My partner had the caesar salad which she said was just as flavoursome. Excellent coffee and a wide range of drinks both hot and cold. All on all, a wonderful full lunch. Water is horrible do most likely just kept in refrigerator for weeks and weeks, really the water was horrible but still 5 stars because we went for lunch mot water. Lastly, super friendly staff who are more than happy to help, thanks for a wonderful lunch.

We tried Food + Brew for breakfast today. The team were super friendly and the venue had a decent layout. Food was well priced, presented and tasted delicious. As we won't be here often, we didn't use their loyalty program, However we chose to pay it forward and whoever the other Andrew is, enjoy your next beverage mate! (Great name BTW).

What a great space, so much atmosphere. The service was excellent, nothing was too difficult. The food was amazing, really good portions and great flavours. Definitely worth a visit 😊

Delicious food and quick friendly service. I had the soux vide lamb it was so tasty. Great flavours. A little bit too much fat on it for me. My partner had the vegetarian risotto which was also incredible. Unfortunately there were too many blow flies around our table and the windows. We would come here again but maybe a fly zapper or fly curtain to stop the blowies would be great on a hot day like today.

Busy but to be expected, coffee was really good and the food they serve looked really good as well

Excellent food. Had the Parmi with bacon, egg and bbq sauce. 😚👌 While live music is great, it was a bit loud, but not a detractor. Would parmi again.

Excellent breakfast. Excellent lunch . I spent hrs @ Food & Brew, while waiting for my car to be serviced. Had great coffee big big breakfast. And a great lunch of a Camilleri. Fantastic.!

Chicken katsu is half a Woolworth snitzel with soggy rice and coleslaw. Very disappointing and overpriced at $24

Amazing food and coffee. Nicely decorated and heaps of sweets, sandwiches, muffins in the display cabinets. The house made hash browns were amazing and the fruit French toast was just as good. If you are anywhere near Smithton and want breakfast this is the first place to go.
