Fish was disgusting and the prawns were like rubber. Chips tasted liked they'd been cooked in old oil. Avoid.

Nice fish and chips but got food poisoning over the Easter weekend. 😡😡 it was the only thing I had eaten for the day so that's how I know it was from there.

Hamburgers were amazing. Salads were fresh, bread was lovely. The bloke burger was huge with so much in it, great value. And the chicken schnitzel burger in Turkish bread was one of the tastiest burgers Ive ever had. Congratulations Fish Pen takeaway. (we heard your radio ad, so had to try you when we came to Merimbula from Moruya).

Website and sign said closes at 7.30, realistically was 6.55. Previously missed 2 phone calls I made for an order 15 minutes earlier. Turned away rudely upon arrival when trying to order in person.

The food is delicious, doesn't matter if you have fish or a burger or something else. Serving size is huge, and the chips are great, crunchy on the outside fluffy on the inside, salads are fresh and the service is always with a friendly smile. Deserve the five stars.

GO HERE FOR YOUR FISH AND CHIPS! Seriously. Best quality fish and chips that I have had between Batemans Bay and the Victorian Border. Generous serving sizes and fair prices as well. Worth the drive as opposed to other options in towns nearby.
