2188 Broke Rd 2320, Pokolbin
We were a little apprehensive about coming given it only had two reviews at the time, but we were pleasantly surprised! Breakfast was just lovely. The hashbrowns and omelets were standouts for me! Outside on the deck was lovely, fabulous views back over some wineries. When we were here for breakfast it was a little warm outside, but the breeze through the deck area was just wonderful. Coffee was nice as well.
Bloody average food. Average staff. Bloody expensive for average food and customer service. Give it a miss.
This place was absolutely delicious! We were first seated by a professional set of staff who ensured we were comfortable, although it was a chilly day, the way the restaurant is seated made it tolerable. Something I enjoyed was the ability to mix and change the menu to adjust to specific dietary needs and the openess and recommendations for those with dietary requirements. We did wait a while for our food, however, the food was fresh, detailed and the flavours were all thought out and complimentary of each other, regardless of changes to the initial menu items! I would highly recommend the fries, fresh juices and the potato hash which is a more homely and delightfully surprising aspect of the original we were used to! We will definitely be returning soon!
Great little foodie spot in Pokolbin where food options are limited. I had the corn fritter with bacon and the fritter was enormous! My partner ordered the beef brisket and it was great as well. We were served by a guy who was only on the job for 2 days and he was friendly and attentive.
Food was amazing. Coffee not so much. Probably my new favourite breakfast place in Pokolbin. Would like to come back yo try the lunch menu.
The food and table service was very professional with pleasing staff. Meal was served within a short time frame and the coffee was strong and aromatic. Will definitely come back again. 10/10
Little expensive for what it is but very yummy! The service was a little slow but would go back if passing through. I had the breakfast burger $18 (cheapest option) and it came with home made hashbrown. So full of flavour!
Unexpected and great little place for brekkie in the hunter. Coffee not too bad either. A welcome reprieve after a weekend of wine tasting. Tasty options provided whether you're a carnivore or herbivore. Also a first in, first served sort of place. No bookings taken.
A must stop in the Hunter! Once I found this place a while ago I remembered to call again. The waitstaff are friendly and more importantly the food is excellent quality. The Eggs Benedict was delicious as was my cappuccino. I purchased 2 chocolate eclairs to go and were well received by my friends when I made it back home.
Never again, hair in the food. No apologies, nope zero!!! Wiser to go elsewhere...
