Emerald Hill Cafe South Melbourne

Emerald Hill Cafe catered our son's 1st birthday party in the park. They did such a wonderful job! Everything was delicious, arrived hot and on time, and everyone left the party raving about the food. Katerina was great to work with. She helped me pick the menu and was flexible about what they could offer, taking into account specific dietary requirements. We will absolutely use Emerald Hill again for future parties or events.

Love their poached eggs and toast, and the coffee is fantastic too! This set used to be $9.90 but is now priced separately, but remains as good as it was in quality. Take your time...inside it's as if time has stood still for a few decades.

Friendly, personal staff and good sized portions. Food took a while to come out and we weren't all served together on the table, despite ordering together. Otherwise it's okay.

I wanted some last minute catering after Christmas and contacted Katerina from Emerald Hill cafe. She went above and beyond to assist with all my requests in-spite of the business being closed for orders. The love and magic in the food that was prepared was felt by all the guests. Highly recommend this business and their excellent service.

The food was excellent especially the falafel salad. The dressing was so tasty. They are inventive with cakes too. Their chocolate and raspberry cake was delicious. So was their Black Forest cake. All vegan...so I thought of the cleverness it took to whip these gastronomic delights up. Big compliments to the chef! Their service was exemplary. The staff are lovely. I’d happily go back. Wish I didn’t live so far away.
