The food here is really delicious. Nachos were the best we’ve ever had. Drinks were amazing and service was incredible! The atmosphere is also really nice for dinner.
2 stars for the friendly staff who were awesome. The food though wasn't great I'm afraid. Shared fajitas dish came with assortment of condiments. The rice was quite disgusting, the beans maybe out of a can, ordinary cheese, small amount of avocado (as usual), lettuce and corn chips. The meat seemed a bit tasteless for some reason, but was ok. The tortillas fine, but they didn't give us serving plates to make them so we had to use napkins. The cocktails really just not worth buying. They're cheaper than usual and for a reason obviously. Not well made at all. For a Mexican restaurant I wouldn't try this place again and have been to better in Melbourne, surprisingly 'Hotel Jesus' in Fitzroy I found a lot better.
The food was amazing. Very good service and the staff very pleasant and friendly. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back. Thank you!
Homely style Mexican restaurant, tasty food, cold beer and great service. Warmly welcomed, seated quickly and cold beers arrived soon after. Chicken Fajitas platter was all tasty and plentiful, we’ve never walk away hungry! Great, quick and tasty meals if you want a huge jump up from home made Mexican kits!
Do check out the dessert menu...
Really good portions for the price that you pay. Missing a bit of salt, but that’s my personal taste. Good have the two different chilli sauces on the table though.
Delicious food! Taco Tuesday is a fantastic time to go as it’s $12 for two tacos and a corona. Had the chicken and al pastor and both rate. Also split the nachos to start and all in was a great feed for a crazy reasonable price.
The food was a little underwhelming. We ordered the enchiladas, but the portion size was small and the food lukewarm. The staff were lovely though.
Quite possibly the worst mexican I've ever had. Meat was extremely dry, hardly any flavour, food came out with a pile of lettuce thrown on top with cheap cheese, didn't really make any sense. Asked the waiter what he'd recommend when ordering initially and he seemed hesitant, don't think he would recommend the food himself or had even tried it to begin with. Churros were mediocre at best.
Very good food, reasonable prices and brilliant spicy margaritas.
