Lovely place. Best food
El Bigoton provided the food for my birthday party at the Yacht Club, it was absolutely brilliant! Ana was extremely helpful in the planning of the menu and the choices recommended were excellent, many of my guests commented on the deliciousness of the food and the amount provided was more than enough. The staff on the night very professionally handed the food around to the guest which added any extra level of service over and above what was expected. Highly recommend El Bigoton for a function. Great Latin street food and they also have a vegan menu which means that almost everyone is catered for. The food is great and El Bigoton gives you a chance to try something differnent to most Mexican restaurants. We really enjoyed trying the cassava stics and green plantain chips. There's relaxed seating with heaters which were very welcome on a cold night. All the food was delicious, we'll be making this a regular.
Wasn't sure what to expect with this Latin America restaurant. Decided to get the platter to try as much as possible and it turned out to be an amazing meal. The beef steak was absolutely unbelievable, mouth watering flavour with the melt in your mouth texture. Flame grilled smokey flavours, chips were amazing and all the other items great too.
What a great Latin American restaurant. The food is light and crafted from scratch. The portions are perfect- you will leave satisfied and full.

Great vegan options! We shared the grilled vegetable salad with guacamole which was delicious, veggie tacos and veggie arepas with fried plantain and black beans. Everything was so tasty. Highly recommend

We want to bring the best street food from all around Latin America to the Sunshine Coast, offering dynamic and mouthwatering dishes. It's all about real food made from scratch with authentic flavors and ingredients, like soft corn tortillas, arepas, housemade beans, meats and sauces. With plenty of kids, gluten free and vegan options, making it enjoyable to everyone.
