Dumpling King Canberra City

Staff were friendly and genuine, food was delicious (particularly the eggplant pan friend dumplings)! Would definitely go back to try the bao and pork buns.

Excellent Food. The pork & chives dumplings were juicy and the filling was exceptional. The Xiao Long Baos are the best! Definitely recommended.

Ate here on spec with friends. Quick service, great food, basic decor (but you're here for the food, not the location). Food tasted fresh and well-made, nicely presented and definitely better than expected. Our table had a range from soups to dumplings to stirfries and none was disappointed or unsatisfied.

This dumpling house has very good pan-fried dumpling, Xiao Long Bao, handmade stir-fried noodles, and Honey Chicken with Sesame. A staff, Tony was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable for all menu. I ordered an extra steamed rice on top of dishes for my starvation. I devoured those excellent and very fresh meal today one dish after another one. Added more, a bit of leftover food was saved for later in plastic takeout containers. It was a long day but recovered from this restaurant and a friendly staff. Definitely recommended!

We booked a table online via their website before coming in. The restaurant was very clean and I have to say the owner had a great taste for music. The food came out extremely fast, they were delicious and cheap. Loved the pan fried pork and chives dumpling. They are a must try item on the menu. The staff was very friendly and always with a smile. Will definitely be back!

Came here for lunch and ordered braised beef and vegetable noodle soup, it was the best noodle soup I've had in ages. I will be back guys! Good job on the soup!

The cold pulled pork noodles is delicious for it's price in Canberra. It's really hard to find black bean sauce pulled noodles in Canberra and I love it here. Simran is an awesome waiter with lovely customer service skills. The owner sometimes gives me free drink and tea when I see him there. Love a good freebie =).

Canberra square, city walk & surroundings area is my favourite place to hangout. Canberra freezes during winter. Wonton soup is my first choice to make my body warm & smooth. Today I picked this (Dumpling King at City) restaurant for Wonton soup. Food is no doubt very delicious. Clean place, convenient location but the there are couple of reasons I rated 3 stars. 1. staff is bit rude. 2. There is very small gap between 2 tables. You and another customer will be eating (almost) together. 3. We asked for another table in the corner, staff refused to arrange. Staff said there will be busy soon so we need to sit between other two customers. At last: While deciding to go out for lunch or dinner the primary things we consider is Taste, Price & convinence. When you visit restaurant you expect friendly staff, nice environment. In this restaurant food is delicious, location is convinent, price is not bad but staff is not friendly & dining area is congested. You can go to this place but don’t expect alot. Recommend but on your own risk. Lol ! Thank You

Awesome food to top off a great night with my mates. Dumplings were delicious! Everything else we had was also tasty. Definitely a must visit place in Canberra!
