Dolphin Quay, 7/8 Zephyr Mews 6210, Mandurah
I ordered the light breakfast and in the spinach I found a bread clip... My friend that I went with got pancakes and they served her with one. It was rubber texture and the ice cream was off, my other friend got the pulled pork roll and the gravy tasted off I gave the Cafe a chance but no hard grudges
The location of this cafe is pretty good. We arrived at 8am and it was moderately busy. We managed to get an outside table, which wasn't overly clean but serviceable. There wasn't a long wait to place the order, you're able to order anything anytime, meaning there's no set breakfast time. You can order breakfast in the afternoon or steak sandwiches in the morning. Our orders arrived promptly. The big breakfast was great, the calamari were cheap, overcooked and disgusting. The French toast was terrible, and the omelette was good. Probably similar cuisine as Dome. Not flash, but ok.
Don't bother. Rude staff. Wife had pancakes she thought tasted like reheated from frozen. I ordered filled roll. They claim to allow you to choose four fillings they forgot lettuce not even on the list? Tasted like supermarket bought bread from yesterday. I forgot to mention cost was ridiculous.
Fantastic location with stunning marina vista. The little breakfast is good value. Just the small details are lacking, ie empty pepper shaker and no Tabasco sauce etc. Otherwise, it's a great cafe to start the day. Coffee not bad either.
Have always frequented this Café when in Mandurah and was always a nice experience. Unfortunately my son and his girlfriend were holidaying in Mandurah this week and went there for breakfast. Ordered Croissants and 2 chocolate milk shakes. Were bought out 2 strawberry milkshakes told staff they had supplied wrong flavour. Manager came and told my son that he ordered strawberry and he had made a mistake not her. They left the 2 strawberry milkshakes and my son with a very good story of poor customer service. Suffice to say when I visit that area with my family in future D'lights will not be the place I spend my money. Hospitality equals service. I suspect the manager was so rude based on my sons age. One action means lost custom and good will.
Great location & good menu selection. If in a group best to prebook table as it gets very busy. Staff give great service.
Very good reasonably priced food in a great location Has very good coffee.
Excellent menu, good service and reasonable prices
Nice location, nice choice of various cakes and other sweets very good coffee, plus other nice food choices. Give it a try.
Okay, I only visited D'lights for a coffee. However, the cake display swung me beyond temptation. Tell you what....an excellent decision! The hedgehog was fantastic, a piece of in-house 'cookery' difficult to describe. A generous slice for only $4! I rarely bother with reviews but if this delicious morsel is typical of the rest of what's on offer then I am afraid sufficient words of praise fail me. I returned afterwards gushing my praise but my words were a tangle of delight difficult for the staff to understand. It is too often easy to complain than to compliment. Believe me, this is one sincere compliment. D'lights know their business. Well done!
