Hands down the best South Indian food in Sydney and one of the best for North Indian food in the lower North Shore. The chef is excellent and adds his own unique twist to some of the dishes. The Dosas and Chicken 65 are a "must try"

Best South Indian restaurant in SYDNEY, literally worth the money... kari dosai is my favourite, and chicken 65 is amazing... Lastly the desert dates sticky pudding was wonderful. A must try place for experiencing South Indian flavours. Will surely visit time, Thank you chef for bringing our flavours here🤗

I go by 2 ratings for poor service by staff. It is not that the night we went was any busy for them or if they were rude but they were not very attentive. You place your order once and then you are on your own. You may have to call/wave them twice for their attention. No hospitality, no checks if customer need anything more. Worth a mention I got up and took water jug to the desk for refill :) Management please see you get staff train for basic checks. Food is nice, kitchen is open and you can see good hygiene which is best thing about this restaurant thus worth a visit if you can overlook service.

Amazing experience, been coming since the start of the business. The chef is amazing and adds a very unique twist to known classics and some new ones I had never tried before. Staff is very attentive and always helpful. The ambience of the restaurant is also stunning -- can sit in for hours with friends and family and eat away. Definitely worth the money

Surprisingly “Dakshin” offered excellent north Indian (Uttar) food. The taste was good and the service very quick. The only thing missing was the smile on the face of the hotel staff. Worth visiting again👍

Good flavour. Even the simple butter chicken tastes a notch above other places. The waiter for the day was very pleasant. Friendly and attentive.
