Dear Abbey Cafe

A friend brought us to this cafe and we really enjoyed the foods, the atmosphere and the vibe. We ordered the 7 spice chickens, eggs-bene-duck, and the eggplant dish. They were great! The flavors were spot on. Will definitely come back here next time to try more of the dishes.

During lockdown I had been really busy. I was physically exhausted as I would have had paid help to complete some work. I had great allergen help over the phone and my meal and coffee were totally reviving, just what I needed. Also came with a bonus uplifting note on my bag, so wholesome. Thanks staff.

This place is always bustling whenever we pass by! Have yet to try their food menu, but we’ve been here for coffee a few times and it’s always been great. The staff are quite busy so it can be hard to get their attention at times. Absolutely love the venue though!

Used to really like this Cafe, it appears to be under new ownership as of recent times. I went this morning (early) with my wife and 2 year old and asked if we could sit in one of the 6 or so booths by the window as it's easier for us with our son (plus the booths are nice). We were told that the booths are only for big groups which I guess is usually fair enough but it was early, the Cafe was just about empty (with no booths being used) and we even subtly pushed the point by saying we'd be quick and just have a couple of coffees. We were still denied and so sat elsewhere. The whole time we were there, no booths were used, but there were a couple of other small (2-3 people) groups who were also denied sitting there, including one couple with their baby in a pram who left and went elsewhere because they too were denied sitting where they wanted to sit in an almost empty Cafe. Just dumb customer service and 'policy', particularly in a precinct with many other Cafe choices. We won't be back.

Really enjoyed the coffee from this little gem. Only had takeaway as lockdown hit, however each time the coffee was really smooth and well balanced. Handy being opposite Woolies to grab a quick caffeine fix. Venue looks to be open and airy and would definitely return to try their dine-in menu.

Four of us had a beautiful breakfast. One aaying best they have ever had...will definitely return.

So good. I had the truffle scramble. Was not disappointed. Mocha was a little cold but their latte (extra hot) was 🤙🏻 Benny-duck was good too. Would definitely return.

This cafe used to be favourite go-to for a Sunday breakfast. Absolutely used to love the service and the food. I have no idea if the owners have changed, but it’s gone downhill fast. The food wait time has become extremely long, my order was wrong with items missing, no cutlery, and extremely arrogant behaviour from the male Asian server when I tried to tell them my order was wrong. If you have specific dietary requirements I won’t recommend here at all. Definitely won’t be back anymore especially with so much better options just down the road.

Lovely staff who were very accommodating. Coffee was great, will need to revisit to try the food!
