Curve Restaurant and Bar

The Curve Restaurant is part of the Adina Vibe Hotel and is worthy of a visit. Don't let the casual furnishings be your indication of quality. The food is excellent. Even though the menu is not extensive it does give a good choice from a range of local favourites. Staff are extremely good and very friendly.

Moderately priced, but cheaper then the Precinct which is next door. The portion sizes for the main meals - such as the steaks are decent. The meatballs are delicious and the club sandwich was tasty. Service was good.

We had a bottle of wine, entrees and a main. All of them were really yummy! I’m a vegetarian and decided I would try the barramundi while I visit Darwin, and I’m glad I did!!! The wait staff were super super friendly. We were a little hesitant at first as everywhere was full and booked out and there weren’t many people here but we are glad we gave it a crack, would recommend :) (one tiny side note, not that I use them but I would suggest getting salt and pepper shakers for every table :)

Amazing staff and a good atmosphere. The food however was of very low quality and I went on a quiet night so the kitchen was under no pressure. When I did speak to a server about the food (the pork belly in particular)I was told: “the chef often overcooks (to the point it was very, very dry) the pork belly because customers often complain about it being undercooked”. Which I think is very poor on the kitchens part. That same server also offered to make it up too me the next night with another dish on the house, which I thought was above and beyond. *On a note though - I did not go back.

We loved this place. 1st night in Darwin and picked a winner. Great location looking over the water and fabulous food. The barramundi was amazing fresh with great flavors and partner's steak was cooked perfectly. Very generous serves too. Thoroughly recommend.

Could've been better for the money spent.

Food mediocre and manager gets rude under morning rush stress. Stop seating new customers if you don't have tables. Some of the waitstaff are completely lovely, however.

This would have to be one of the most poorest quality so called restaurant/cafe I have had the pleasure of interacting with. We ordered a serve of calamari and a side of crispy chips we waited for almost 2hrs for the food to arrive at our room only to find that the food tasted horrible and was over cooked. On top of that we got slugged $27 for the privilege of an everlasting foul taste in our mouths.

I got the MSA graded angus porterhouse with Argentinian chimichurri salsa served with mashed potatoes or chips and garden salad or seasonal vegetables and jus or mushroom gravy for $34 dollars. The steak was tough and chewy not Angus beef at all. I ordered the steak to be cooked just under medium rare, what I got was a steak cooked medium well done a dry piece of meat cooked by someone with below amateur bbq steak skills. The chips were ok but the salad was very low class like something out of a caravan park or worse. The sauce was good. My advice don’t order the steak meal.
