Coffee and service was average for the expectation we had given the atmosphere. Renovations and power tools also took away from this experience. Tip: visit late 2021/2022

Nestled within this newly renovated Brokenwood facility to give visitors lower cost food options instead of eating at The Wood restaurant. Offerings of breakfast, brunch and all day items. The Reuben sandwich and fries with aioli were exceptionally good. There was pizza on offer but we didn’t try it. The beef and mushroom pie was quite good as well.

Great place for a casual, relaxed lunch. Despite being at capacity, service unwavered. Tasty pizzas and pinot! Thanks to Monica and Charlotte for looking after us.

Went for a late lunch. Asked for an outdoor table (which is our preference from a Covid risk perspective) and the lady that checked us in told us that it was very hot and that we should sit inside. We again asked for an outdoor table and she obliged but not without telling us that if we changed our mind she would not give us a table inside. Food was fine. But no food is worth that kind of utter rudeness.

Great location for a sampling of wines along with food. Dog friendly location. Alfresco dining. Clean baby change station.

Went for brekky. Food, service and coffee all super. No kids menu but were happy to do scrambled egg on toast.

Went to CRU for brekkie and coffee and loved it! A gorgeous spot for a quick casual bite on their deck and the food and coffee was delicious.

The dough is good (woodfired). However, pizzas are very small for what you pay, which is $25. Also, we ordered a chicken pizza and there was barely any chicken there at all - just like 2 tiny bits, so 3/4 of pizza slices had no chicken on it at all. There was overwhelmingly too much feta to feel anything else. The biggest let down for my wife was the plate and cutlery - it is a lovely choice, but not for this dish as it is difficult to cut the pizza and you end up struggling. Also, the distribution of the ingredients was really strange and uneven - one piece with barely any feta, other with more chicken pieces etc. She paid attention to this only because there were scarce ingredients. It wasn’t terrible, but I’m far from happy. 2/5

Just ate here, though we did drink a bottle with lunch. We had a dog, so we ate outside. Staff were friendly and attentive and the food was very good. Really nice building with lots of local timber furniture and good atmosphere. Didn't do a tasting here.

I had the best experience with regard to their covid19 safety plan for their customers. It was so easy to book online with a holding deposit and your contact details, there was a touch free hand sanitizing station at the door and our temperature was taken on our arrival. We were then free to enjoy our food and drink and surroundings with no hassles
