Amazing coffee and food! One of my favourite cafes and have been coming here for years. They take their coffee seriously so any coffee snobs should be happy.

Here I ate the BEST avocado brunch I have ever had in my life... ever! It surpassed my expectations and was so surprised to find the vegan option had scrambled tofu which was so delicious in its own right. To top it all off they even added vegan feta. Even the juice was amazing. After recently moving to the area and noticing the large number of vegan items on the menu, I thought I would try this place and now I will definitely be a regular visitor!

kracken (grilled octopus) and steak&eggs really delicious, excellent coffee (had the Yunnan beans in an oat latte) and watermelon smoothie. definitely one of the better brunch places in Melbourne.

An awesome little café in Oakleigh with the most down to earth ambience. A super chill place to hang out any day of the week. Its true everyone, the grilled octopus is 𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐙𝐈𝐍𝐆! 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹 (Butter poached prawns, wasabi, chives and celery, Japanese mayo and chips with furikake seasoning) 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻 (Grilled octopus with torn multigrain toast, chorizo, Persian feta, salsa Verde and heirloom tomato) 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲 (Orange curd, berries with plant-based ice cream & fairy floss) Newest addition on the menu, the Japanese Prawn Roll is light and tasty. The bread roll is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with fresh buttery prawns in a yummy Japanese mayo. My absolute favourite dish isThe Kraken with grilled octopus! It’s their signature dish and I can now understand why its soo popular. The large pieces of octopus tentacles are super tender and incredibly delicious combined with salsa verde, heirloom tomato & Persian feta. I would definitely return just for this amazing dish! Sooo yum! I was hoping to try their Brioche French Toast but it was no longer on their menu. So I opt to try the plant based hotcakes instead. The hotcakes were surprisingly massive and is super light and fluffy with chia seeds. Love the mixed berries and fairy floss giving the dish some texture and extra sweetness as the orange curd was quite bland. Overall a really great café and worth visiting if you’re in the area.

This is easily my favourite brunch place in Melbourne and such a good find! Absolutely adore the grilled octopus and definitely value for money. We ordered delivery once and the portion for dine in is definitely more so would recommend hitting the cafe for it. 10/10 would encourage everyone to go!
