Deliciously interesting food. Great unique flavours you don't get anywhere else. Service was really nice and friendly. Bit on the pricier side but the quality of food shows for it. Venue was really nice with aboriginal art all around
I'd put this in the top 5 of my dining experiences in Melbourne. Why? The menu is creative and different from anything I've seen. The native ingredients produce exotic flavours that feel new but are not "shocking" to distract. It's been a while since I had such a welcoming and unique dining experience. To top it off, the service was great and the ambience is stylish but not stuck up or over the top. Plus I like the idea of the social enterprise. I recommend the halloumi and the wallaby shank.
A stunning showcase of Australian flavours. The kangaroo was the standout. Wallaby was great, too. The wines were excellent. I really enjoyed their in-house bread and Australian dukkah. They have good gluten free and vegan options. The service is fabulous and I'll definitely be back.
Fabulous experience. I will definitely be back. A great social enterprise supporting indigenous young people. The food was delicious. I had the eel tart and the baked gnocchi. I was a little jealous of those who had the kangaroo- it looked wonderful. I'll definitely be going back.
Such a beautiful experience! Our waiter James was wonderful and so professional, we were really impressed with the service, food and atmosphere.
Had such a loving experience here. Attentive service and wonderfully presented tasty food. Highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely evening.
I’ve been here several times now and can say this place has consistently impressed me! The food, beautiful space and staff are all on point. On top of that to be able to support a worth while cause makes the experience top any other find dining around. Highly recommend dining here for locals and visitors. Foodies will appreciate the new flavours on this food journey!
really great food, good service and nice interior. It was fabulous to eat different foods and spices unique to Australia that you can't get elsewhere. espresso martinis were yummy and I wih i had had space or dessert as they looked great too. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because while the food was amazing we bought a $60 bottle of sparking wine and did not receive the wine listed on the wine list - instead received a bottle of Yarra Burn Brut which is a super disappointing wine you can get from Dan Murphys for $9. I really would have expected a better wine option or at least what we had ordered. I left feeling a bit ripped off and regret ordering it at all!
Had dinner for 6 here last night. Our waiter made perfect recommendations on food, everyone loved their meals (the kangaroo was incredible), as well as excellent local wines and a Davidson plum coulis which could change lives. Will definitely be back with friends!
Superb food with amazing and friendly staff. The implementation of native foods is true quality
