Delicious food, good service, I had mango chicken and my friend loved her lamb with chili. Saffron rice made to perfection and complimentary papadams added to our enjoyment. Loved the decor and would only suggest please move the bins away from the windows so we don't have to look at them.

If you want to have a real Indian type ambience visit this place. I will guarantee you will not miss your home town. Food is good and authentic to the province the chef originates from. we could not pick any faults, we liked the food very much. I request the restaurant to cater to the authentic food for a long time to come. We love to visit again for the food but I request you to make sure to give the amenities and cleanliness a thought too.

We had party yesterday of 9 people and food was really good we tried entrees from which the seek kebab was not over cooked and in the curries the lamb was over cooked , they had lot many stuff missing out from the menu but still had great dinner from rest of the food there were no complaints and service is great as they were very busy still.

High expectations often lead to disappointments and this is exactly what happened with Chahat. Thoroughly disappointed with the food, taste and quality. An overload of spice that dominates the taste and the food itself lacks punch. We ordered Punjabi Thali that had dal makhani and paneer navratan along with the other standard inclusions and never have I tasted dal makhani that's not creamy (watery) and a prominent taste of red chilli (i presume). We were recommended Kulcha thali and were impressed when served but it was a let down as the channa lacked taste and the kulcha were burnt and had a bitter taste to it. The service was good, courteous and friendly and the quantity served was also good. Adding pics.

Awesome food.... Above expectations...... Amritsari naan yummy..... Can't wait to try laccha paratha on next visit...... Highly recommended restaurant in Adelaide.......

I am very disappointed with their service. We did plate system for an event at our house. First of all the food was less than expected. Second of all, they didn't deliver one curry which was extremely disappointing as there were guests at our house . Third of all, we ordered garlic and plain naan both and they just gave us plain naan but took money for both. I mean, if you are finalizing someone's order, have a second look to be sure. Their raita was not good at all. I am very upset with their service and do not recommend them at all.
