The accomodation was very nice and better than expected. The beach on the property is so beautiful. Unfortunately, the restaurant was a complete let down. The food was way overpriced (10$ for garlic bread) and 24$ for the salad in the picture. This was the only vegan option on the menu, a much nicer alternative would’ve been to have couscous with the roast veggies instead of warm wilted leaves.

I only ate lunch at the restaurant (didn’t stay at accommodation), which was very tasty, friendly and fast service. Suggest to opt to eat at the tables around the side in the sand, and have a view of the beach whilst you’re eating.

About 200 m from carpark. Food was nothing to talk about but the rain forest setting is gorgeous and if dining there you have access to the pool and it's a 2 minute walk to the beach, where you can take a stroll but not swim of course because of the crocodiles. Did not stay in accommodation as it was a day trip from Cairns but wished l had as it's a long drive 2.5 hours each way.

If you have any physical disability regarding your legs you will find getting in and out of the swimming pool almost impossible. I was very disappointed and felt humiliated and embarrassed as to get out of the pool I had to roll out and then pull myself to the rails to stand up. Goodness knows how somebody in a wheelchair would cope. All that is needed is a rail in one corner to grab onto. The setting is beautiful, but the cabins are very basic and small choice of food in restaurant. The staff were polite, helpful and friendly. The management should improve the infrastructure to match the quality of their staff

Don’t expect lunch as they advertise. We were refused lunch for 2 people at 12 due to tour buses coming in. The restaurant was empty! The manager appeared angry at me asking why. He asked what my problem was. We were hungry, and were surprised that house guests were not allowed to eat. That’s all. I see that other reviewers have said similar. No problem, we didn’t spend another cent there. We ate lunch and dinner at some great local restaurants. And afterwards, we had drinks from the bottlo. Do go visit Cape Tribulation though. It’s beautiful. Everywhere else on the Cape was great for service, so spend your money there!

We had a beautiful two night stay at Cape Trib Beach House. Vicki was so helpful booking our tours prior to arrival and altering times at our request. There was also a bottle of wine in our room on arrival for my husband's birthday which was greatly appreciated. The room was small (double bed and two singles) however we were busy exploring the rainforest for most of our stay anyway so the small room wasn't an issue for us. The room price was very reasonable and considering the low cost I was surprised that the rooms were also made up each morning which was a nice treat. The pool was beautiful and refreshing and set amidst the rainforest. The restaurant servings were delicious and generous with great service from the staff. Access to the beach was a bonus. Although swimming is not allowed due to stingers and crocs, we enjoyed relaxing strolls along this picturesque beach where the rainforest meets the reef.

Beautiful place! No signal at all for any type of internet connection on my phone so had to drive out for internet. LOTS of spiders everywhere but within the room itself it’s so clean, meal was alittle disappointing for the price as we had the fish which was I believe $33AUD but the oven style chips were just lazy, the calamari was amazing though!

The location was good and the cabin was very clean and free from bugs. Unfortunately the trek down to the cabin was along way in the heat. Not being able to drop off my luggage was a huge pain for me and my wife. No wifi No phone service No TV

We loved our stay here in a recently renovated cabin. We had a family room with two singles and a double. It was quite tight, but by the time we had unpacked it was fine. And we barely spent any time in the room anyway! Restaurant is 50/50 for service and food. Front desk staff are really helpful booking us in on lots of local Tours. We loved the close access to the beautiful unspoilt beach and full immersion in the rainforest. So much wildlife surrounding the eco resort.
