1000 Ann St, Fortitude Valley
Very slow. No one on the coffee machine. Food was cold before coffee arrived and when it did it was wrong. Food was good.
Great spot for a hearty breakfast and good coffee.
This was a nostalgic try as this place had amazing food some years ago when I used to eat here. Boy, did things changed! The eggs were vinegary and overcooked the bread was Coles ciabatta, and bacon as leathery as you can imagine. A, well, at least now I know there's nothing "buzzy" about Buzz caffee.
Went there for brunch by chance and felt comfortable and good. I reckon price of the menu is bit higher than quality. but i don’t go there intentionally but I found there were many customers for breakfast. They looked working near this area. Taste was not bad but not excellent. Staffs were nice.
Many of the reviews of breakfast are very positive however it appears lunch needs work. Ordered the pork sandwich, about what I'd expect from a service station. Just pork on wonder white bread untoasted. The side salad and chips weren't bad. The peri peri chicken salad should be described as peri peri chicken with a side of salad. Anyway, it is meant to have feta but didn't. Worth noting the items may not have everything as advertised. The chicken itself wasn't bad. Decor was good, service was average.
Amazing food! Great place for a breakfast. Options for savory (Eggs Benedict was delicious) and sweet (pancakes were super original and yummy).
My husband and I had lunch with friends at this cafe on Friday. My friend ordered the salmon meal but when it arrived, it was definitely another fish. When she asked the waitress what fish it was she was told it was barramundi. My friend said “oh, I ordered the salmon” to which the waitress just kept on moving, saying “oh did ya” in a totally disinterested ‘tell someone who cares fashion’ and walked off. Leaving 4 people sitting there gobsmacked and who will definitely never return.
First Bacon and Egg roll after lock down and it was great. Beautiful brioche lots of bacon and the tomato relish was perfect. The coffee is great as well
Zero effort by staff to clean tables in pandemic. Very Basic food for the premium location. Staff smoking in vicinity of patrons eating, unhealthy and Disappointing.
Great Eggs Benedict (we had one with salmon and one with crispy bacon) and pesto eggs. Coffees were perfect. Great family-owned cafe - highly recommend.
