21 Fountain St, Alexandria
I love this place. It’s so different and warehousey, with huge share tables with fun decor. The food is fantastic. I love the breakfast salad but every dish is a winner here. Accompanied with coconut water is so great. the breakfast salad 12; bed of cos leaves w/ avocado cucumber sprouts olives fresh herbs and a lemon and olive oil drizzle + biodynamic boiled egg 3 + marinated goats feta 6
We’ve been to this cafe a few times. It’s quite conveniently located opposite Woolworths Alexandria so draws a big crowd. I like how diligent they are about checking in and all the staff were wearing masks. The cafe has a warehouse feel to it and is located in a building with other restaurants. We’ve had quite a few of their dishes and everything is great. The people working there are nice and attentive. I’m not a huge fan of their coffee coz it’s a bit weak for my taste but that could be just me. Definitely worth visiting
Coffee was good, almond milk tasted fresh and was made creamy and strong. I ordered the sourdough Meredith chèvre sandwich box which was enormous, if you are not starving you can share that with a friend. I feel that they need to concentrate more on their seasoning and balancing of flavors. They are in the inner city and if they want to compete they need to at least wow Sydney with the flavors. This whole area is pretty interesting but the communal bathroom is atrocious.
Yum!!! A little treasure tucked away from Fountain Street. Super healthy, great service and I can't wait to work through the menu. Beautiful teas as well.
Nice cafe in a bright, airy space. It's tucked away in a mixed business complex/ food court. Service is friendly. I ordered the congee, which was a little unorthodox (not conventional Chinese) but I liked it and the strong ginger flavour that came with it.
Skim flat white tastes good, strong and works well with the milk. A bit pricey but worth trying
A cute cafe in Alexandria, but the food was mediocre. The pancakes were quite bland and the ricotta cheese tasted funky. For the price it wasn't worth it, honestly could've made something better at home. However, the strawberry smoothie was nice and the scrambled eggs were delicious. Maybe next time Bread & Circus !
I bought a large almond latte today. Charged $1 for almond milk that is expensive than another cafe. I don't mind I pay $6 if that is good coffee. But it tasted so bad and not enough froth in the coffee. It's not worth it. I feel disappointed with this experience.
Quality ingredients with a relaxed “canteen” atmosphere. I enjoy ordering their salad platter where you get the option to have a bit of everything. Highly recommended to go after 12pm as they serve a much bigger variety of food in their lunch menu as brekkie menu is quite limited. Another item that I’d recommend ordering is the rainy bread toast. As the name suggests it’s an amazing thing to have on colder days. Basically straight old toast with butter and drizzled with honey... delicious!
Love their hot choccy range. Quite inventive
