Blue Salt Restaurant

The saying is ‘you get what you pay for’ but at Blue Salt you get more! I like that it is located further down Mitchell St away from the bustle. Located next to Lizards Bar and the H Hotel with a spacious car park right opposite. White linen table cloths with a fresh, clean, relaxed ambience. Staff are friendly and are on point with everything. The food is definitely high end. Fabulous presentation, quality ingredients and made by a chef that obviously loves his job. The bonus is that you won’t have to re-mortgage you home to pay the bill.

Good food. Entrees are tasty. Not a huge amount of menu choices but the basics are covered. Had fish (mackerel) which was cooked well and a generous serving. Modern and clean premises, friendly staff.

Had the scotch steak best yet and cooked just how I asked. My wife had the barramundi and has been back every week since and ordered the same meal. Speaks for itself, Great new restaurant Darwin.

The worst service I have ever had. The girl on the till clearly had no clue what she was doing as we repeated our order multiple times and both our coffee orders came out wrong and taking our table number away before we had even received anything. We ended up having to ask about our food after waiting 30 mins only to find out it wasn't coming cause it was served to other guests, so then we waited another 30 mins for food to be cooked. So disappointed considering it's not cheap

Huge bolognese with lots of flavour. My friends had the steak and parmigiana which was Great too. Really friendly staff and we got a free home baked bread when we arrived. We are coming back.

Excellent coffee by a lovely and friendly barista who takes pride in his craft. Food is also excellent.

What a lovely we to finish our weekend away in Darwin at Blue Salt, friendly staff, well appointed venue and meals that were proportionally sized and enjoyable. Thank you

Visited Darwin for work, great staff & service, even better food. 10/10

Roast diners are cold , served on cold plates. Meat was cold , veggies were cold te gravy tried to heat the whole meal up. A friend had pasta which was hot and delicious.

Staff went above & beyond. I wanted something light and was recommended the bruschetta, it came out as two large servings and was enough for me as a main meal. I’ll be back!
