We thought a poached barramundi with lemongrass, sour plum and chill broth, and a Hawker crunchy noodles with fishcake, fish balls prawns in a soup with greens, an absolutely tasty way to finish the weekend. What a delight Blue Chillies proved to be. Talk with the manager Bonnie about the best fish and you'll be surprised. Try the ikan bilis (sambal crispy fried anchovies) to go with a fresh beer. And it's super value for money.

Really great food and service, lots of choice on the menu, staff were so friendly and personable and they played Taylor Swift songs all night :)

UBEREATS REVIEW: JUST "OK" MALAYSIAN HAWKER STYLE FOOD Ordered Blue Chillies home delivery (via UberEats) for two on a Saturday night. We went hawker style as one of us wanted vegetarian an dteh other didnt. The menu just manages to cater for a mixed vegetarian / non-vegetarian couple. > the vegetable spring rolls: very oily and salty with little texture > the laksa: not bad flavourwise but the liquid was very thin > the char kway teow: in a word - awful! It was gluggy and mostly noodles all stuck together. Most went to the bin :( > the beancurd: good texture and taste Maybe it was just the chef having a a bad night but it has discouraged us from ordering there again.

Had a fantastic dinner with some real stand outs. The beef rendang was sensational. The sambal if okra, eggplant and beans truly delicious. An exceptionally warm and hospitable hostess in Bonnie made it a memorable evening. We will be back!

Bonnie was a fabulous host from the start to the end when she opened the door for us all to exit. Food was extreamly tasty, best Rang dang I have ever had! beautiffly styled decor. Highly recommend we had a last minute booking for 6 for a Birthday dinner. Thanks Bonnie! See you soon 🥳
