Birdees

Went to Birdees for an amateur comedy night in the upstairs bar. Followed by a great time in the outdoor area with some live music and beer pong. Great tunes for the dance floor if you like to cut a little rug. Reasonably priced drinks and good service.

This place is a Joke! was told by mates to boycott Birdees, but thought I'd give it a go anyways. Told I was "too intoxitated" when I'd only had five drinks over the space of five hours, and was not at all intoxicated. People walking in were visibly intoxicated, not being able to even walk straight and still allowed in. Went to a heap of other places and had absolutely no problems getting in! They pick and choose customers. #boycottbirdees

The bouncer closing on Saturday night (the one who needs her roots retouched very badly), didn’t let our group in - who were just picking up some friends @ 2am. She made us line up, checked our ID’s and told us no while laughing. This is really bad service, and it should be noted that the security bouncers are notorious for being picky when choosing who enters. She also let a group of unstamped guys in without checking in - they still paid for entry. Extremely concerning service.

birdees likes to kick people out and give NO explanation as to why or they tell you its because you’re too “intoxicated” when you’ve only had one drink. so dont be suprised if they kick you out unexpectedly, i wouldnt waste my time or money.

On arrival Thursday night there where two door guards on duty the female security guard was absolutely a joke so arrogant and rude. Working in the industry myself I think it’s absolutely shocking to have someone so power hungry and rude on your front door. Your front door guards are the first people they see and the last people they see on the way out. They used the excuse of my hand tattoo which isn’t actually a hand tattoo the tattoo is located on my thumb which isn’t visible unless my thumb is up in your face. She then refused to get the venue manager when I asked the reasoning behind my refusal. All she kept replying was house rules sorry mate move along. Unfortunately for birdies this being the main reason the club has a poor name now. She was just looking for a reason to deny entry. Later on that night I had been told she was doing it all night so unprofessional.

Much better clubs out there!

The only thing this place doesn't have that every other popular place does is a place to sit down and drink. Get rid of the outside downstairs dancefloor.

Lined up for an hour to pay a 10$ entry fee when we couldn't even dance and just ended up having to sit down upstairs for an hour. They didn't tell us when we could dance outside and we just ended up leaving. Wouldn't recommend

Had a great time at bridees! Loved the bartender, lucky, she had amazing customer service and just an overly fantastic personality. She even remembered my drink order after an hour! What a legend!

This club wouldn’t be awful if it didn’t smell worse than a sewerage treatment plant
