Iβve been coming here on and off over the years. Always consistently good. My goto for a succulent Chinese meal!
My hubby missed authentic simple fried rice. They fried well π For me, first time to try fried noodle with wet sauce, it was amazing. The scallop makes good flavour. The braised pork belly was disappointing π. I guess it was like ran out since some part was really tender like braised pork belly, some part was chewy. It was like they topped up the lacking quantity straight away when cooking.
Always come if we craving food at night, where nowhere is open. They have $2pp surcharge for public holiday. Its portion is huge! So if you want to meet up with group of friends it is a great place! Get confused with Uncle Billy thoπ so when you enter go to the left sideπ We ordered Sambal Pork BBQ Fried Rice, Roast Duck Crispy Noodle, and Eggplant with Salted Egg Yolk. Tastes OK, but I wish they put more salted egg yolk on the eggplant.
I visited Billy Lee's a few days ago on a weekday night with friends over dinner. They have outdoor seating and two floors of indoor seating. We were seated at the ground floor indoor seating which is cozy and has an aquarium with huge crabs and lobsters. We had shark fin soup as starter, crab omelette, special friend rice, and spicy chicken in the mains. All of them had good serving sizes and were the correct amount of spicy and really appealing to look and taste. We finished the dinner with Fried Ice Cream which had vanilla ice cream in the centre, surrounded by coconut coating that is fried and topped with sauce of your choice - chocolate/ strawberry/ another flavour that I can't remember. Must try indeed!
After Uber got the order wrong Billy Lees helped us to complete the order correctly! There food is delicious I can definitely recommend them.
Nice staff, affordable very delicious food!
Good authentic China town experience in Perth CBD. There cook fresh live fish and crab to order. First time I had deep fried barramundi was amazing second time had to send it back as it wasnβt thoroughly cooked.
OG. Enough said.
Sitting is closely packed between tables. Prompt service by the staff. Dishes were served hot and real fast minutes after our orders were taken. BYO charges is $1.50 per pax. Food is not the authentic chinese restaurant style, they are more of the home-cooked comfort food.
Staff are rude. Do not recommend
