BigTop Playhouse

Definitely needs a revamp as it’s quite rundown, ball pit doesn’t really look like the photos and needs new balls ASAP. Could do with some music as well! I’m giving 4 stars because the food is affordable, yum and decent serving sizes. My 10 month old had fun running around the place and absolutely loved the disco room. Just needs a little love and it could be the best on the coast!

Came to big top with my 6, 4 and 1 year old on a Saturday morning for a friend's birthday party. The whole venue was only filled with the people from the party. Its a small venue but because it was quiet the children had a fantastic time as it is a safe area to play. The bathrooms were clean and plenty of tables to sit. I can imagine with lots of people it would get hectic but anywhere with lots of kids is hectic doesn't matter where.

Place is crowded and on the day was stuffy. Rubbish in the bathroom overflowing simple idea is to just het big rubbish bins instead of tiny ones. Toys are everywhere. It would be nicer to less toys arround but keep one theme. Rugs in toy room smelled. Service and staff were very nice. Little cars for toddlers are unnecessary. There is no space for little kids to ride.

Very rundown & VERY dirty. It’s such a shame because this used to be such an amazing play centre until it changed owners.

Paid the entry fee only to be told as I was walking in with my toddler that the toddler area was closed for cleaning. Tried to take him in the big area but he was upset because he could see the toddler area and wanted to be there. Thought I'd give him a snack to distract him... the high chair I grabbed was absolutely filthy. All the toys are old and filthy. Ended up leaving after 10 minutes. Don't bother wasting your money. EMF jnr is the same entry price and is immaculate, I'd recommend going there instead.

Just went to the Halloween event and have walked out after waiting over an hour for wedges, there was no covid safe plan in place, it was “how many kids can we squeeze into this small place” there was three staff on the entire night, a cook in the back and two girls in the front dealing with everyone, couldn’t keep up with demand. Not enough space for everyone, very cramped. Definitely won’t be going back.

The photos as absolutely deceiving and were probably taken years ago . We went their for a play today and it was so run down the playground was outdated and old and super overcrowded that we wanted to leave as soon as we got in , I should of asked for a refund we left 5 minutes after arrival .Save your money it’s not worth $10 entry perfect place to take your kids if you want them to get sick

Downhill since the business sale. My family came here for a couple of years, every weekend. This used to be such good value as the adults recieved a complimentary coffee (a well made one at that). Now it is far to expensive to justify. The previous owner was so good at what she did and was always cheerful, as the staff should be. Since it's sale, Bigtop Playhouses atmosphere has completely changed for the worse. Unfortunately we will not be returning. What a shame.

Was quiet when we were there. Kids did have fun and fruit platters were nice. My only bad experience was one of the staff seemed over it and was not friendly at all. The other lady was lovely. Good customer service is important in any business and can make up for any other issues people may have with the amenities.

No covid safe plan in place ... filthy dirty plates and cutlery everywhere... Toys old and broken Will not be returning
