Bento Tei

I loved their food. Today, I tried their chicken katsu donburi and it's absolutely delicious. They are always generous with their food for its price. Great service and the staff are nice. Good thing they have tables outside so I can bring my dog with me to dine in.

Its a nice small japanese eating place. Ramen is not that really at par with the ramen I tried before. Overall the food is good and the servings is good for 2.

First time dining here on a Friday around 5pm with a friend. Restaurant was very quiet, we were the only customers. Ordered ramen with a side of vege pancake and chicken karage. Also ordered a snack of 6 gyoza. Chicken karage was cold and tough. Ramen was underwhelming. Gyoza was terrible, somehow the gyoza skin was still doughy and floury tasting and very little pork filling. Only the vege pancake was good, flavoursome and fresh. We were hungry so ate everything, but only for sustenance with close to zero enjoyment. Maybe an inexperienced cook? Very unimpressed.

If you want fast food that's healthy, Japanese is th easy to go.

Managed to turn a 6 minute delivery drive into 40 minutes and stone cold food. Was still good once heated up again.

Service was good. Food was ok. Not the best Japanese in Canberra, but serviceable. Curry serving was massive.

Nice food and friendly price. The best lunch choice in Gungahlin for a Japanese food lover.

Good -Good Japanese food. -Nice & clean. -Friendly staff. -All manu been changed in 2018. -Kids manu is the best!!! -They open between 1100 and 2100. But there is meal break between 1600 and 1700 which is PRETTY FLEXIBLE!!! Bad. -It was 5 stars for me before. But they changed all menus in 2018. I am feeling that price went up and less portion. But most of menus have more options to choose which it may cause you extra pay. -Small inside. Very busy between 1200 and 1300.

I'm in love with their Chicken Katsu Donburi. I don't know, nor care, if it is authentic Japanese cuisine but I know that everything I've eaten at Bento Tei has hit my taste buds and made them happy.

Good food but bad service. deliveries are sometimes delayed and no one is answering the phone when you are calling them/
