Best restaurant service I’ve had thus far in Sydney!! Coming from America, it’s rare I find an establishment that has the level of service I’m used to in the States. (Understandably so, because our staff get paid pennies and have to work hard to earn tips for a living wage.) As a previous catering manager, server, and bartender I was blown away with the service and hospitality from the Beast & Co. staff. Service was quick, drinks were strong and very well done, food was delicious, they were accommodating to all dietary needs, atmosphere was fun, bottomless brunch was a steal of a deal, and establishment was well decorated and kept clean and tidy.

Absolutely amazing experience!! Just ordered take - away pork belly and it was soooo delicious! Received 15% discount, had a great chat with owners (they are both lovely and obviously love what they are doing) , grabbed bottle of great red wine and will be back very soon for sure! Thank you Petra&Jakub !! Legends in Surry Hills. Highly recommended to everyone.

A modern venue with great staff but it is the food that makes this place well worth a visit! The cabbage was something a bit different and really tasty. In the mains the Duck was cooked perfectly and when we go back it will be hard to not order the same again. The steak was a decent size ,we asked for medium and it was again cooked to perfection. Desert we both had the doughnut and it was not what you expect but in a yummy good way!! Yes they serve some great Bohemian food but also some European classics cooked to perfection with a well priced wine list. We are already planning our next visit!

If I could give more than five stars I would. The food, drinks and service are exceptional. We traveled to Sydney for the weekend and could not have picked a better place for a meal. The beef tartare was my favourite entree, and the pork belly was perfection. The cucumber cocktail was almost too easy to drink. A must visit if you are in Sydney. Thank you to the staff for making our night so fantastic.

You know a restaurant is run by a friendly and loving Czech couple when even the CABBAGE is a flavour adventure and the cocktails are strong. Luckily the decor and ambience are far more sophisticated than my last trip to Prague as a backpacker. The pumpkin is a must try and really well priced. The menu caters to all dietary requirements too. Only constructive feedback is the bench seats are at a weird height and I felt like I was a giant presiding over a delicious medieval meal - which I'm totally fine with - but the boyfie on the other side probably would've appreciated being at eye level (or not😉). The place to go for a life altering meal and role reversal with whom you choose to dine with.

The food and cocktails were absolutely incredible!! I’m vegetarian and had the pickled Camembert first and then the roasted cabbage. Honestly, no idea what they did to that cabbage, but it as incredible!! Will definitely come back!! It was so creamy and delicious ☺️👌🏽 The service was also impeccable, I can only recommend this place very highly.

Best and co was a little bit different, but delicious! I loved the picked veg and black berries with the duck: both complimented the duck really nicely. The donut for dessert was lacking a hole, but had a great fresh donut flavour and texture, with a cherry sauce, which helped manager the sweetness down a little. And the bread with picked camembert was tasty and smooth and different and I'd have been happy to stop at the entree and eat a whole plate of it!

This is absolutely one of the best restaurants in Sydney, a very recently opened, still undiscovered Gem at a few minutes walk to the lovely and lively Oxford Street. Petra is a funny, lovely and an extremely professional host, and also the beating heart of the venue. With her sense of humour and attention to the details She will guarantee the perfect dining experience. The kitchen is the cleanest I have ever seen, and the chef is extremely nice and approachable, which is something one doesn't see very often. The menu is very focused but full of surprises with a selection for every kind of palate, and an attention to vegetarian options you don't see very often. The pickled camembert tastes like heaven, and the Farmer's Pick (vegetarian main) offers THE best pumpkin preparation I have ever tried in seven years of hospitality in over three continents. The Czech Beers are phenomenal, and the cocktails are worthy of a chapter on a mixology book. You better not skip this one!!

Fantastic from start to finish! The Bottomless brunch is great value for money, the quality and quantity of food is amazing and the Margaritas are delicious; we were not left wanting in any way. We also shared the chocolate tart to finish and it is a must try! Petra is an absolute asset to the team! Can't wait to go back.
