I have never had such bad fish and chips from Beacy Flake Fish and Chip that l had yesterday. We ordered fried Whiting, now if you know a little about fish Whiting is a rather small fish and light in texture not pieces of fish the size of a big size piece of flake, l don't know what sort of fish it was that they selling as Whiting. It was greasy, the chips were soggy and the potato cake we so under cooked they were still firm when you bit into them. I recommend if you want to a nice fish and chip take away try somewhere else, Try Row Your Boat in Berwick.

The souv tasted pretty good but the meat ratio is lacking a bit.

I would like to take the time to commend Sienna on her impeccable grilled fish, I am usually not one to indulge in white meats, but I decided to give the fish a taste, and I do not regret that decision. That fish could be the best grilled fish I have ever had the pleasure of eating, she should be congratulate on it, and I recommend to anyone that is going to Beach flake, if you are intending to indulge in their grilled fish, ask for Sienna to cook. A raise is in store for her.

hands down the best fish and chips in the area. food always manages to go above expectations and the service is so friendly. i’ve been coming for years and refuse to go anywhere else. definitely recommend!!!

Beacy Flake? More like Beacy Fake am I right? The so called 'Fish' was loaded with batter. Very disappointed with the quality. Won't be back again anytime soon.

A definite favourite in our household, their fried flake is beautiful, with tasty, crunchy batter - always a generous size too. Service is friendly & quick. Staff are always friendly - even when they’re under the pump!

We have been coming here for a couple of years now. Never had bad service or bad food. I'm not sure where some of the negative reviews are coming from, because the flake for us has always been thick and tasty - not too oily but not dry. Reasonable amount of batter on it but that's the way I like it. Decent serves of chips and good prices. We will continue coming here regularly.
