Overrated
My very first plant based beef and fish burger. It was so yummy, exceeded my expectation. Reasonable price. Esp. Onion ring is so light and tasty. I love it so much and will eat there again during my stay at Byron
Dam does this place do a mean burger!! Highly recommend the signature bagyer hamburger and the chicken with Turkish bread. So soft and delicious. The sweet potato waffle chips were a bit soggy but nothing a little air frying couldn't fix and was back in crispy heaven. Definitely a must for any burger lover and thank you to the guys for making such a mean burger
Excellent first Byron Bay Experience! We’d just arrived after a long drive and were keen to try one of the many burger joints here. Have since tried another highly rated competitor and BayGer has trumped them for me. The BayGer burger with Turkish bun was incredible. Meat was beautifully grilled and the bun was awesome. Also really liked their BayGer sauce! Highly recommend trying the onion rings and also the fresh lemonade (juice, not soft drink) which was $2 for a small cup, but it was super refreshing and not sickeningly sweet. The sweet potato fries were good too. Also they have Gluten-Free buns as an option, which I was told was really good - for any coeliacs wanting to know. Highly recommend!
Tasty and juicy burgers. They offer special offers 5 days a week. Definitely recommend if you want to grab a quick bite
BayGer is my go to burger shop in Byron. After 40 years as a tradesman in the Ballina Byron region I believe BayGer make the best burger I have ever had which is saying a lot. A down under burger meal consists of a works burger, chips and a homemade lemonade for just over $20 which is pretty reasonable for Byron standards. Good quick friendly service and a seat overlooking the main street for prime people watching make this a great pit stop for a busy person.
The plant based "Just Beef" is by far the best vegan burger I have ever eaten. It's so good I went back 2 days later, not to try a different burger... To order the same one as last time! Great food at a reasonable price. Highly recommended
