Bamfords Kirribilli

We recently had a wedding celebration at Bamfords and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We had the place exclusively, the staff were great, cocktails delicious and food lovely. We couldn’t have been more happy on our special day thanks to the team at Bamfords.

Food was reasonably good as were the cocktails. The wait staff were lovely though I must say I was disappointed with management. When my friend booked she wasn't told that it was an outside table... there was an inside table that was empty (and remained so for the duration of our meal) that we were not allowed to move to. It would have been fine if a) my friend had been told when she booked (we could have made sure to bring thicker coats) b) they had heaters outdoors c) management had been more accommodating and genuine in their apologies.

Awesome neighbourhood bar - so glad this place opened up! We go here all the time and always feel welcomed by the friendly bar staff who make the time for a chat and make you feel at home. The drinks menu is well thought out and doesn’t leave you feeling overwhelmed. Everything on there is considered and tastes great. The food menu has some great bar snacks and bigger meals if you need something a bit more substantial. I’m a big fan of the sliders or the guac and chips - must try!

Although our food arrived late, it was worth the wait as the salads were delicious and corn chips with Avo as well. Great attention to detail in the interior design, love the combination of green, gold and wood touches. Only complain: keep the toilet cleaner and fill back in the toilet hand wash. Everything else, great for a quick bite in North Sydney

Fantastic food, fantastic staff, on tap beer, great wine and bar selection, exceptional atmosphere at very reasonable prices. No hassles. What more could you really want? A view? Is the harbour bridge enough? For those worried about "THE RONA" It is not at all over crowded - It is actually well spaced. I do wish they were open longer as 10pm really isn't very late at all. 12 midnight would be much...much better for this kind of venue as most people turn up for dinner or a drink at 9pm which could be a tad rushed. Personal favourite from menu? The sliders (mini hamburger things that taste really good). I also live in hope they will put whitebait fritters on the menu in the near future. Anyway enough reading reviews- just go book it and enjoy. Support a new local business and make it thrive as it is worth it for everyone involved.

Great venue and food.The bar has atmosphere with very friendly staff and is tastefully decorated. Highly recommended. Look forward to returning.

Having visited numerous times we absolutely love this gorgeous gem nestled in the heart of Kirrbilli village. Owner, Alistair, and his beautiful Bamfords team go above and beyond ticking all the right boxes for these avid foodies. ATMOSTPHERE: Ambient with tea lights in the eve, heating outside and all round wonderful vibe. Love the music thanks to Alistair's great taste. SERVICE: Salt of the earth, genuine, warm, and welcoming. FOOD and WINE: Pigs Peake shiraz is sublime and the arancini the best we've experienced (be sure to try it!) The warm olives are delish, as are the moreish truffle and parmesan fries and the slow braised lamb ragu is absolutely delightful! On a recent visit they kindly kept the kitchen open for us (thank you!) On your next visit to the lower north shore or Kirribillli be sure to add Bamfords to your bucket list! Fantastic spot, friendly service, beautiful interiors and excellent cocktails. Came here for a pre-dinner drink but will definitely be back soon to see what more they have to offer!
