Great! Authentic and full of flavour. Service exceptional

This venue was a pleasant surprise and it delivered a customer experience above my culinary expectations. Invariably I throw caution to the wind with any Mexican cuisine, it can be a hit and miss at the best of times. However, this place simply ticked all the essential boxes. No hesitation providing 5 stars. Excellent food, service and ambience. This will be a new 'go to' spot.

Baja is a great restaurant, food is delicious, service is great and environment is perfect. We really enjoyed the place. It is worth mentioning that as Mexicans, we greatly valued the Mexican touch impinged on the dishes.

Went here a couple of weeks ago, visiting from Canberra. I'm a big fan of Mexican food, this place is obviously high end tacos but they do it so well. The menu is short enough to make ordering easy, but every dish is intriguing, so you wont find any middle of the road options. The staff were super friendly and made us want to hang around...which we happily did. We also went to Maya the day before, which has a great view, but for food / drinks / service it was Baja > Maya.

Great group dinner last night. We had the banquet option which was perfect. I had concerns it wouldn't be enough but it was the perfect amount, and so tasty. Great staff and yummy cocktails. Thanks Baja!

We started out with a Coco Loco cocktail and the jalapeño syrup paired with coconut was amazing. The Kingfish Ceviche was beautifully flavoured and very generous in its serving size. The Chile Rellenos was so delicious but we both agreed the pumpkin was quite sweet and overwhelming so a cheese filling might have been better. The tacos are truly where it’s at. Duck Carnitas with tomato and tamarind salsa were divine. My personally favourite was the Pork Jowl with pineapple and radish. Authentic Mexican flavours with a modern twist. Would highly recommend.

You HAVE to go here for amazing Mexican food. The taco's are always so fresh and the drinks are amazing! Highly recommend for a night out with friends, as a regular catch up spot or date night , Baja ticks all the boxes!. This place has such a great vibe and the staff are so lovely and they clearly love their job. This will be your new regular dinner and drinks spot. Book in for a Wednesday or Thursday night if you can as Fridays and Saturdays are very busy!

Can't get enough of the tacos!!! The best I have tasted so far! Whilst the fillings were incredibly flavorsome, I have to also compliment them on their tortillas, it's obviously a crucial part of what makes a great taco! The other main dishes were also equally delightful. The staff were super helpful and friendly and service was just perfect. I will DEFINITELY be coming back!
