Alex Junior

Alex Junior quickly became my favourite local a few years ago, when I visited Perth periodically while living in Sydney. The staff were so warm and welcoming, and very quick to remember your name/order, even when you only visited every few months or so! It's the (unexpected) little acts of kindness from the staff that really make this cafe stand out in the Padbury community. Since returning to Perth I'm thrilled to be living so close by to such a friendly (and delicious) place. Thank you for keeping me caffeinated with very tasty Almond Flat Whites & Oat Chai over the years x

Good coffee but every time just bad service. The staff don't smile and hardly call out names when your order is ready so coffees just end up sitting there. Then today, restrictions are in place 3/5 of the staff have masks sitting around their chins or have their noses out. Poor form.

Rude staff. I ordered an ice coffee and was waiting inside at the table with my two year old because I came in through the back entrance. They called my name so I went to the counter and said was that my name? The girl that served me said yes then all the staff just looked at me and a rude guy just said go to the window and get it. None of them could just hand it to me. So I walked out grabbed it and walked back in with all of them watching me. Do the staff really think they're above handing someone a drink? Totally rude. Then coming to see others have had a similar experience someone should maybe have a word. I won't be spending money to support that behaviour. **Edit. By the owners respose this place is too busy (3 people waiting) to hand someone a coffee is the bottom line so best to help them out and not make things too hard by purchasing a coffee and expecting someone to hand it to you with a "tailored" visit. Omg. This isn't Milan. It's Padbury shops. Don't be so rude.
