Had a brilliant Sunday lunch at the 4 Pines in Newport. The service from the staff was fantastic as always and the roast was a cracker. We usually dine at the 4 Pines in Manly and I had historically voiced my opinion that they did the better roast. Well Jamie & the team in Newport smashed it out the park & have left us with a very difficult decision to make in the future….. Where to have a super Sunday, Newport or Manly???? Thanks again guys.
Great pub with excellent friendly service. They even checked with a neighbouring store when my partner wanted a hot chocolate which they didn’t have on the menu. The food was excellent and the craft beer selection was good. There is lots of charm and while there is more than one Four Pines this is definitely an independent business that is well worth supporting.
Friendly helpful service, delicious food. We had the roast lamb - tender meat, creamy mash, caramelised roast veggies, rich flavoursome gravy and they gave us cheesy garlic bread as they had no Yorkshire puddings left. It was so so tasty, will def be back!
Great food and beer pairing night. The live musician was fantastic. The explanations were educational clear and succinct. The food was interesting and delicious. The beer was its usual awesomeness. One thing…no hazy beers on tap.
Has a quirky comfortable atmosphere, with friendly and helpful staff. Let us taste some beers first, I really enjoyed the draught. Very light and refreshing! Great variety of food available, including vegetarian options. Pumpkin salad with falafel was delish! Definitely recommend!

Newport’s best. The staff are wonderful, the food is great and the beer is top notch. Never disappointed, would recommend making the trip to Newport just to enjoy. 10/10.
